Can't be any worse than that POS w/ Matthew Broderick in it....... if not they just need to bring back Japaneese guys in costumes stomping on toy trains!
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1158251520/nm0001623?ref_=nm_phs_md_1 I found Mary Pitillo very cute in that movie. Actually, the only good thing about it! _
My women from Tokyo Imho, Godzilla (and Rodan and Mothra) need to be Japanese, wrecking Tokyo. update to maybe include a gratuitous 3-some with the Shobijin ("small beauties") Twins _
Being a 'Zilla fan since I was a kid, I'll be going to this one too albeit probably on a Sunday Matinee so I can get in half price.
While I loved zilla growing up, I will wait until it comes out on RB...for the record, I thought pacific rim could have been a little better if they had taken the 2 scientist out of the movie. They made the movie an utter disaster to watch....I did love the battle scene where the monster was sliced in half in the sky, almost like a Voltron moment. Sorry just reliving some childhood memories.
I hear ya. I could wait for it to d/l but, I love Sunday matinees. Nearly empty theatre on Sunday mornings as most knuckleheads are sleeping off Saturday nite. Couple that with hot fresh popcorn out of the hopper along with choice seating and you have a great movie experience in the offing. I don't do night movies anymore. Too much bullshit to deal with at twice the price. Hard to beat $7.50 with choice seats and hot buttered popcorn.
I think the fact that I am interested in seeing Godzilla after this trailer is an amazing testament to how cool it looks considering that the giant steaming pile of shit that is Pacific Rim left me with zero interest in seeing giant monster movies. God that movie is unwatchable.
My father in law and I, worked out a similar system, we wait until the movie is out for 3 weeks and then we go on Wednesday at 11:45, we sit in the back and just relax. 4 people in the theatre, love it. We have not been to a night movie in a while, hate the stupid smartphone and texting adults.
If I'm not mistaken, in order to maintain copyright and trademark statuses, there have to be franchise reboots periodically.
No, trademarks simply require use. Godzilla is used perpetually in many forms so a reboot isn't necessary for that protection. You are likely confusing why Sony and Fox have to continue to have X Men and Spider-man movies in development because of their licensing deals with Marvel which has nothing to do with trademark protection. For Sony and Fox to continue to maintain the film rights to those properties they have to have films in development otherwise Marvel can call back the film rights. It is possible the studio has the same issue with Godzilla but that isn't the same as protecting a Trademark with use.
