Another solid road win albeit against Buffy. Good team defense and the usual grear play by the King. I would rather watch these guys play anyday than pine for talentless goons of the past.

Great 3rd period for the King, should have had the shutout, one Sabre knocked the puck to Inness with a high stick

When I see the team lacks toughness, I don't mean goons. I don't mean fighting. I mean we have pussies on the team who are not physical enough to succeed in the NHL. We have no size or toughness at center OR at the wing. You cant win in this league like that.

    In summary

The Rangers are playing well and begin a nine game homestand until nearly Christmas but jonny and tommy still yearn for talented additions such as Stu Bickel, Nick Fotiu and Dave Schultz so the team can lose games but win the title for most fighting match penalties

Rangers PP is better 12th in the league at 19.6% while the PK is 6th with 85.9

Rangers faceoffs% is 21st in the league with 48.8% not good at all this is really shocking...

Brian Boyle leads team 321 faceoffs taken and 56.1%
Dom Moore 217 faceoffs taken and 50.7%
Brad Richards 306 faceoffs taken 49.4.%
Derrick Brassard 320 faceoffs taken 47.2%
Derek Stepan 497 faceoffs taken 43.9% not good at all

    That's a pretty retarded summary.

the Rangers are a .500 team right now that plays better on the road than at home.

And obviously if you read my prior post, you would clearly see that I don't want any goons but I want physical players up the middle or on the wing.

I "yearn" and "pine" for is a team like 2 years ago, who with just a tad bit more of scoring, could of have won the whole thing as they led the league in hits, fights, blocked shots, they had balls, something that is sorely lacking right now.
you might make the playoffs with this kind of team but as far as being built to last in the postseason, i'm still not sold on these guys at all, and let me assure you that there's nobody here that wants them to win more than myself.

they won nothing because they had the same problem then as they do now, it's called "no goalitis" - the ability to not score. they were about 3 or 4 goals away from a cup finals appearance against the kings. that's long gone now pal.

The Rangers have traded for Kyle Beach from the Blackhawks in exchange for Brandon Mashinter.

Beach has a bit of a scoring touch, Mashinter is useless

Looks like Rangers also have called up J.T. Miller, per the AHL transactions list
