And this is the problem with the +/- MDZ played very well last night. Very well. He was the only guy creating something. Had a few very nice rushes. The 2nd jET GOAL WAS gIRARDI'S FAULT.......The 4th goal MDZ rushed the puck nicely, made a nice feather pass to someone who couldn't handle the puck, and Winnipeg came right down and scored on the transition with 2 mionutes left. MDZ was right in forcing the offense there. Anyone who watched last night and thinks MDZ played poorly just doenst know what theyre watching.

Brassards give-away obviously was atrocious and Girardi stunk the ice up last night.

Callahan was invisible by the way. I know he scored but he didn't have a good game.

And Richards contunes to miss GOLDEN opportunities

If we are going to apply the same standards to other players that we have to Del Zotto, Dan Girardi has been absolutely terrible lately. He may be amog our worst players this season.

CAN WE START PICKING ON bRASSARD YET? HE WAS "OK" LAST YEAR WHEN WE GOT HIM BUT HE HASNT DONE A FUCKING THING SINCE

He was far from the problem last night, Hank would have won this game, Brassard, Stepan, Boyle all offering next to nothing now, I really think they should insert Bickel, let him be the 6th defenseman and play 8 minutes and kick some ass every night, this team is softer than the ice cream Jonny was eating between periods last night...

Sadly I agree Hack, he seems lost with the puck and never hits the net with his shot...Staal was horrible last night too...

Come on, now. I appreciate your anger, but you're being silly trashing a 7-1 rookie goaltender with about a 2.00 GAA.

    You're just noticing this NOW?!?!

Absolutely scratch Girardi for Bickel. At least send a message.

I'm willing to give Staal a pass based on the nature of the injurt he had... for now. There is absolutely no excuse for Girardi to play like he has.

Cmon Hack you know me better than that, I'm not Jonny, I love this kid he's a godsend but last night he was subpar and Hank could have stole this game...he's been far exceeding our expectations and he will rebound...

what a confounded bunch. between the fuckin' jets and rangers, the cracks are starting to show in my well being. it's turning me into a hate breeding buzzard, and i'm not like that. my beach paradise is grey, my soul is dark, and I spew bile. I need a morning joint in the office here. fuckin' pricks can't put any kind of streak together.

I'm not really that worried. Yes they're playing inconsistently and some guys look shitty, but remember just how LONG this season is. The Rangers have that look about them, I feel there's enough talent on this team where if they catch fire down the stretch they immediately become a terrifying opponent. Shit, just having Hank, period, makes us scary, imagine if the offense gets going?

Just make the playoffs, that's all that really matters in the NHL, especially out of a shitty Eastern Conference where the best team is the Pens and their disaster of a goaltending situation.
