Losing 6 in a row isn't doing that though. I was listening to the radio this morning and the Herd was going through the list of PGs in the West; teams 1-9 all have good point guard play. It's pathetic how weak we are at that position.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's because he misses too many open shots and needs work on D. This team is terrible. I don't know if even Tyson can save this season.

At least he's aggressive instead of overpassing and his work ethic is incredible, he's almost always first in shootaround. He's going to be a very good player.

Yeah Barcs?...i thought his defense was pretty decent. He showed the ability to hit the 3. I like his intensity...looks like he hates to lose. I think long term, he will be an excellent guy of the bench that every great team needs. I agree with you though, not there yet...but I would be playing him.

Whats really pissing me off about this team and Woodson is the lack of urgency in preseason. I get the limited minutes with Martin...but you would figure by the end of the preseason he would be at least 90% sure of his rotations.

He still has no clue. I mean trying to get the right formula? Thats hockey..not NBA basketball. Getting the right rotations takes a few games to figure out and if you need to play with it for the hot hand...that I get.

I think Woodson...who pushed all the right buttons last year is pushing every wrong button he gets his fingers on this year. He feels the need on certain nights to get A.S. his minutes no matter how bad he is playing...I mean the guy is bringing NOTHING to the table right now..nothing.

To not be able to say the right things to Schump and J.R. by now is inexcusable. Especially Schump. This kid just needs to be fed positive all the time. This kid nonsense he used his first couple years has set into motion exactly what you have right now...a kid with no confidence.

I really believe this team has plenty of talent to be at least a 47 win team. There is no excuse. Woodson looks as lost on the bench as his players do on the court...and because of that its totally up to the players to turn it around. His inability to not defend his players on the court DURING a game is horrendous...he just sits there. You watch Doc Rivers up all game and in the ear of the refs all game..its hard work to defend your players without getting a T. They need to come out and destroy somebody...to dominate somebody..and soon.

Exactly, THJ plays with urgeny at least, Shump might be better a better Defender but he can't score a point to save his life and when he does its useless points. All the years I've been playing and watching B Ball Hardaway is going to be better than Shump simply off his aggressiveness.

I agree..and schump has so much damn talent..i mean once a game he should be going down the lane and jamming the ball..making a statement. I dont get what his game is.

As far as Felton is concerned..all of this media bullshit of "thankfully...Felton should be returning soon" when he was out...the media lets these guys get away with murder. Felton is the laziest player I have watched over the past several years. He is so lazy...he asks for help 80 percent of the time..he has no desire to fight through a pick. He constantly stares down a teammate when he doesnt help out. He is a disgrace. Sadly, there is no one to push him because pablo is either hurt or finished..probably hurt.

I cant take watching this guy on the court. He brings nothing to the table..the job of a point guard is to make others better and he doesnt have any ability to do that. If there is any move to make it should be for a point guard.

Then he just comes off the floor and every assistant coach puts their hand out to shake his hand as he comes off the court. Nobody is held accountable on this team...him by far the most. What a disgrace of a player. Now I understand how Portland despised him..at least they were honest about his play.

He has that "i dont like him...but I lost my dog and I guess I should be looking for him?" look.

I truly do not understand what is going on with trying to fix this thing. I guess some would bitch and say what do you want him to do?

My answer to that would be...something stupid?...something none of us would think of because he is the head coach..my job is to sell sell sell. Start Kenyon Martin at point guard? Felton at center? I have no friggin clue but I feel like its ground hog day because Im watching the same shitty defense on the pick and roll..the same ball movement...the same open shots by other teams...the same Anthony with the ball for 12 of the 20 seconds we have the ball.

Knicks players have completely tuned out the coaches...I LOL'd so hard at that Woodson reaction with Melo's last possession. He totally ignored every other player, told them all off and then goes and gets blocked by Foye.

Hahaha, I hate this Knicks team.

Woodson is so bad that he leaves Kenyon Martin on the bench during crunchtime, damn

    Agreed.

The main problem with Woodson and I dont mean this to say he is dumb..he is not a dumb man..but the game moves to fast for him. He cant coach to the speed of the game. His recognition on game changes is nonexistent. It doesnt mean he does not see the problems...he just cant see the solutions.

I mean..Melo had guys wandering around him wide open even though nobody helped out. Takes a straight up/slightly falling away jumper against a 6'4" guy. There is no smarts to be found on this team now..none.

Then to show he is in control..he blasts Hardaway coming off the court after a bad defensive play and puts back in the prima donna of prima donnas....Smith. He doesnt have the balls to blast anyone but guys who will roll their eyes and take it like Schump...and Smith...and a guy who sincerely listens like Hardaway who was single handley keeping them in the game..makes one bad lapse on defense..and gets pulled for that chick with a dick..SMITH.

Apparently there's an issue between Shump and Melo for being a ball hog, which is why Dolan wanted him shopped around and could explain his lack of motivation

I feel like this nails it 100%. It makes me wonder when I read some articles earlier this year, maybe Woodson did accidentally find success last year in ways he never wanted to or planned to. This year, everything has backfired.

I had to catch up with the WED/FRI night games on replay, those were not fun to watch. 8 in a row, hopefully December brings a different story for the Knicks

well...some kind of message got through. Only first few minutes but Felton is not switching unless he has to...team is pushing the ball. The energy level is through the roof...this is a different team. Only 4 minutes played so far..lol.

The defense is on fire...something has clicked with this team. Lets see if its long term or short term.

When Pablo Prigioni is in the game, the ball moves. At times it might move too much with Pablo deferring to others, but the ball moves and he has no problem looking away from Melo or Amare when they don't have position

    And the Knicks lose again.

When you lose so many close games like we have this year, it has to come back to the coaching. The Pelicans, like many other teams, down the stretch just put Bargs in a PnR and the Knicks switched and Bargs was left guarding a guard.
