Aikman: The reason Detroit had such a bad turnover differential is because their offense keeps turning the ball over but when they're on defense they don't take the ball away.
They were talking about John Madden earlier (got onto it because they first talked about Summerall). I think Aikman stole that line from Madden.
Flynn hasnt made the costly mistake yet either. Green Bay just has to stay in this and have a chance to win it at the end.
Flynn parlayed that one game against the Lions into like $18 million. That might end up being his only good game in the NFL.
That might have been the single best game in NFL history in terms of dollar return per minute played. It's remarkable how dominant Detroit has been on offense with Megatron having done absolutely nothing so far.
they're of course been doubling Megatron constantly and he did have 3 catches for 50 (two coming on the opening drive). GB defense 29th in the NFL according to DVOA
Defender was yanking Durham back when he tried to catch it should've been a penalty but Megatron TD the next play
Sam Martin: "How the fuck does that happen?" It happens when you twice kick the ball short and way left in a dome, asshole. There is no excuse for kicks like that in perfect conditions.
Flynn has figured out how to move the ball lead your receivers into big hits the Lions defense is always generous with personal fouls
Aikman was right about one thing. The way that the Lions D-Line is dominating the Packers, Aaron Rodgers wouldn't be able to do much better than Flynn. Also, the Lions Offense is running over top of Green Bay's Defense. :metal:
Moronic play by Cowboys to start play - returning a kickoff 8 yards deep in the end zone, fumble returned for a TD. It actually looks like he was probably down before the ball came loose, but since they called it a fumble on the field it will probably stand.
