why thank you sir. and to think Jets' fans aren't welcoming. don't believe everything you hear on a finheaven board I suppose. after yesterday i've more than given up on my team though. they give the term choke artist a new name. my prediction? we are up by 30 at halftime and proceed to lose by 20. i thought i'd come here and bond a little bit with you guys, i feel your pain!
Would love to see Simms. Need a spark on offense.... I like that we're at home. Always a coin flip with this team.
i had the same notion earlier today but ignored it. at the very least, they have to be discussing it.
Quick question...does the fact that only about 35000 unwashed fish fans show up for Miami Football Marlins games reduce the overall smell of body odor at the stadium
i wouldn't know i'm from western ny. never been to a home game. but thank you sir, this is more of the experience i was hoping for on this board!
I think we should let people run on us.....our secondary sucks so bad that we should discourage any QB older then a Pee Wee from passing against us.
http:/ / thejetsblog.com/bga/bga-defensive-line-they-will-be-stopped/ Too good to be true, and they are only getting better. This type of defense can make noise in the postseason, you just have to make it. That's how, against 7 superbowl contenders at the time that we played them (Ravens, Patriots 2x, Bengals, Steelers, Saints, Falcons), we are 3-4. And then 2-2 against the Bills 2x, Titans and Bucs. All things considered, that's not terrible at all, especially considering how the front seven has developed so dominantly as many of us predicted. Our schedule was front-loaded. We have a winnable stretch of games now, while everyone else in the AFC is looking at doomsday part III. My opinion: we have seen this before. We know that good things will happen for us with the other AFC teams, so don't bother looking at the scoreboard for other games. Let's get this thing turned around on offense. Let's be the team that can get the ball out quickly to tight ends and shifty receivers, and try the more-than-occasional deep ball. Figure out the LG debacle and move on. Mangold's best years are being wasted, forcing him to play with one hand tied to the guy to his left. Get the pass protection straightened out, stop micromanaging Geno and go all in with the guy. Take the fear out of his head. Let's see if we can't be a half-competent offense again. Because with a defense this good, that may be all we need. Let's get this started on Sunday. Five games left in a year that we spend all year thinking about. Let's do this. Miami delenda est.
Mike Wallace worries me a bit, we might have to keep 2 safeties deep a bunch and give up some rushing yards, if Miami is going to beat us we absolutely can not let them do it by going deep on us.
Good news announced today by Rex Geno Smith will start Sunday vs Miami. Go Geno Go Jets Filet the stinking fish!!
