Rose is essentially done imo, his career will never be the same. Both knees completely damaged. Knicks and Nets can still salvage there seasons if they can start playing better. The top 2 teams in the East are clear but the rest is wide open for anyone.
Curious, if you don't mind expanding, why don't you like him? I've never heard of him being someone's least favorite.
It was a meniscus not an ACL he should be back this season. The Knicks unfortunately do not have that second piece next to Melo so I don't see us doing much this season.
If his cheating, ineligible ass isn't on Memphis UCLA wins the national championship. I hope his career is garbage from here on out.
Orlando@Miami, Magic led 55-39 at the half. Currently a 1 point game in the 4th. Seems like this happens a few times a season. I remember several Heat home games in the past few seasons where they played bad teams and either lost or came close.
LeBron hits a 15 footer with 15 seconds left to put the Heat up 101-99. Afflalo and Oladipo both missed shots that could've forced OT.
He's not clutch still, let's see him do that in the NBA finals!.... It's scary when he's confident in the mid range jumper. Chris Paul lost his streak of consecutive double-double games with points/assists last night. This was a funny move by Demarcus right after the game, http://www.slamonline.com/online/me...iah-thomas-shake-hands-with-chris-paul-video/
Gotta feel bad for D-Rose. Im not his biggest fan but the guy stayed out all last year just to get healthy, now hes out again for the year. It looks like his career will probably never be the same. I wonder what the Bulls plan on doing? I could see them trying to move him tbh and get draft picks back. Im not sure anyone would want him either.
Lakers paying Kobe to, I guess that kills the Lebron talk. No way Lebron would team with Kobe. Carmelo might be on the Lakers radar now for sure. Doubt Melo goes tho because of the money difference and I dont see the Lakers as a long term contender even with Melo and Kobe.
Jeff Van Gundy just made it sound like the Bulls are about to just blow the whole team up, like right now. All the pieces will be up for grabs it sounds like. Rose is signed for this season plus 3 more. Kirk Hinrich might be obtainable to.
I think Deng gets traded and Boozer gets the amnesty tag. No way they get rid of Noah though, 7 footers who can block shots and rebound are at a premium in the league.
no, he stayed out all of last year because he's a pussy and was afraid to play. it doesn't take a year and half to recover from an ACL; this isn't the 1970's anymore. fucking Rod Woodson came back to play in the same season he injured his ACL. If think Derek Anderson for UK as well. the greatest obstacle in overcoming an injury like an ACL reconstruction isn't the injury, it's the fear of re-injuring it. it took Rose a year and a half because he is weak minded -- not the mentality you want in your best player. I was back playing ball in 8 months and that was with a Navy surgeon in the 1990's; Derek Rose had the best surgeons and the best rehab on the planet and was still afraid to play. his career is certainly done because he will be afraid for the rest of his life to re-injure his knees and simply will not play at full speed. and I couldn't be happier to watch it.
Shocking news that Rose will take this season off. No one could have seen that one coming! I don't get why the Lakers paid Kobe again. His current contract is bad enough, considering his performance doesn't justify the money. Now they want to keep paying him star money when he's 37?
Hahaha I kind of get this idea, but I like to believe Rudy is doing this so he doesn't have to look at his poor shooting nights
I'm reading those rumors on twitter, would be shocking to say the least. Maybe they let Tom Thibs go and the Knicks can bring him back  The Bulls are in a tough spot to blow things up because the teams probably pushing heavily for their players are the Knicks and Nets who don't have picks or anything to give up
