jeez the way some of you carry on I swear you think that Rex is like some guy playing Madden that can control how every player performs like they are attached to a controller - he cannot go out there and make plays, he cannot teach an established vet like Cro how never to get burned deep, he cannot throw the ball for Geno he cannot block Defenders for the OL - at some point the players have to hold their hands up and take some of the blame - coaching only takes you so far otherwise every top coach would be able to enjoy great success regardless of the quality of the players right? Oh wait - every successful coach going (with few exceptions) has a top performing QB at his disposal - but of course that makes no difference because its all about the coaching.
They didn't have 2 weeks to prepare because Rex gave them 6 days off and took them to Dave and Busters the night before the game instead of going over the gameplan. Anyone who believes Rex is a good HC needs their head examined.
of course it is, lets have a look at his 4 losses: - Jacksonville - close game in which Sanchez threw 1 TD and 2 Ints - Packers - close game against a top team (9 - 0) in which Sanchez threw 0 TD and 2 ints - Seahawks - got killed by a top team in which sanchez threw an int and again 0 TDs - Bills - Geno threw 0 TDs and 3 ints So in those 4 losses our incredible QBs threw for 1 TD and 8 Interceptions - but yeah its all about the coaching
you are right - he should have plugged in one of those incredible back-ups we had like Clemmons or Simms right? That would've worked out great I am sure. The blame is on the FO for failing to get a decent back-up in place at any time in the last 5 years, but that is probably Rex's fault too right?
Rex had choices. He could have tried using Tebow, Simms, McElroy, Clemens. However he stuck with Sanchez til he got hurt in preseason. He let a rookie put us in a hole while we are trying for a playoff spot. By all means let us celebrate the greatness that is Rex Ryan. How is his predictions on SB's going?
Manuel actually has less games. He was out for the Bills for awhile with an injury and Thad Lewis and Jeff Tuel started for them in the mean time. Manuel came back last week and looked terrible then lit up the Jets this past week.
Okay now explain why you blame 3 incomplete passes on the head coach rather than the offensive coordinator? My guess is you are just looking to blame Rex, as fans ALWAYS do after a loss. "Durrr, Rex overtheez evweything, so he is to blame for offensive pwaycalling too!!!" LOL. Usually teams get more pass heavy when they are behind multiple scores and the run isn't effective with a stacked box. If you're looking to blame anyone, blame the dude with 4 friggin turnovers. Why ON EARTH blame the head coach rather than OC or QB? You didn't explain the WHY? So tell em why u mad bro. Tell em!!!
My biggest problem with Rex is, why does he leave Sanchez and now Smith in these games, when there clearly hurting the team, with turnovers, Jesus at least coach like you want to win games, I can't stand that.
LOLZ. He didn't bench Sanchez or Geno twice or anything. Simms didn't play on Sunday. trollol. You know what I hate about Rex? He never goes for the field goal on 4th... oh wait he actually does.
thats so stupid, like having a dinner and giving what was for the most part NFL MANDATED days off lead to that loss. they exposed our QB and CB's and got momentum in the right times, get a grip.
