    The only rank the matters right now is #6 in the AFC.


    This isn't college. It doesn't matter how the media "experts" rank the teams. I remember reading some expert's opinion that Houston would beat Atlanta in the Super Bowl this year. Exactly.

    Bingo. Most people laughed when I said Atlanta, Ravens, Steelers & Giants would miss the playoffs and that the Lions & Jets would make it. Not saying I'm right because there's still a half season to play, but those guys aren't experts, they are trend followers. Atlanta won the division last year so the majority make the safe pick for it to happen again. They ignore Payton's return and Rob Ryan's effect on defense. It's rare to see them make bold predictions over safe picks, although something unexpected happens virtually every year. I didn't see the Chiefs going undefeated for 9 games at all and also didn't expect the Bucs to be winless.

    The Dolphins also beat Cincinnati and Andrew Luck.
