The pattern ends next week. I don't see how we can beat the saints with their crazy talented te , decent running game, and an actual talented qb who can make the crazy throws. Back to the te for a minute. TE from day one have been a problem for Rex. Who actual thinks hell figure something out for Sunday? Rusty ass Gronk killed us last week, imagine what a well tuned TE will do.

the jets are suprisingly playing good when they have no chance, and when we hyped up they just flat out bad xd
we have always had issues w/ the Saints. For most of the saints history they have been a bad franchise yet they still lead the all time series. we have lost 5 of 6 to them w/ the lone win being the kyle Turley game. The last time we beat them at home was 1986. One of the very few teams I have never seen the Jets beat in person.
I believe they'll control time of possession, Geno will play better and the run game will be more effective.

Pray for a major snow storm or something. That's the only way the Jets can hold these guys under 30+ points. And with this offense, scoring over 30 would be miraculous. Not good when teams have figured out that a quick, controlled passing game is the weakness of the defense and they happen to be facing the very best quick controlled passing offense in the league. Not good.
I don't think that was the problem yesterday. We didn't have any bodies in front of the QB when he was throwing. I think we can make an adjustment up front. I suspect Brees is not going to have those clean lanes in front of him next week. The Jets have tape and will adjust.
The Saints just got off to a slow start, a little rusty from the bye. Once they got into the second quarter they dominated that game the rest of the way and impressed me. They did something that I wish our Jets would do: They scored a TD to go up 14-10 with 3:40 left in the first half. When the Bills took over, they immediately used THEIR timeouts. They showed so much confidence in their defense that they weren't even worried in aiding Buffalo, they just wanted enough time for when they got the ball back. 1st down - buffalo stopped for a loss, timeout Saints 2nd down - buffalo 7 yard completion, timeout Saints 3rd and 5 - buffalo incompletion, Saints get the ball with 3:18 remaining and 1 time out. Very ballsy and very smart. They were able to score another touchdown and in less than 4 minutes the game went from 10-7 Buffalo, to 21-10 N.O. (ball game right there)
I don't get it. Anytime someone gives their opinion that isn't dripping with over-whelming Green optimism, you complain and shout SOJ fan. Yet sometimes the analysis is correct, as it was on Sunday. Some fans actually can look at a match-up objectively and draw their own conclusions, even if the results bear negative light on the Jets.

We arent beating the Saints, period. Im usually the optimistic person but we will be lucky to be within 2 possessions heading into the 4th quarter. The tightend is going to eat us alive, along with the recievers and Sproles. The Saints might want to take note of the stadium they are playing in because they might be playing here in February. If the trend continues, we will definitely win on Sunday :up: But no seriously, I think this game will be very similar to the Monday night game against the Falcons.
