The defense has been completely exposed for what they are today. A good front seven with a bad secondary. Teams will throw on all all day the rest of the season.
I'm not looking to jump any guns here but we better not draft another fucking corner in the first again.
21-3... We're still in this game. (Puts Homer glasses on and pours stiff Maker's Mark and ginger ale).
Honestly though... holy shit the WR recieving corp of the Bengals o.0 AJ Green Sanu M. Jones Gresham Eifert I mean... not bad huh?
Now put Walls back on the bench after giving up a 5 yard completion where he got pushed off on and forced a perfect throw.
I feel like we have two receivers who can do what Jones just did, and Jones is their 3 WR. Oh and one of our two is injured, so yeah. Obviously it's been like this on almost every drive, but Jets need 7 points here.
If im Rex im going to blitz more. The secondary is getting carved no matter how many guys are back there. It cant really look much worse than it has so far.
thats why I prefer Corners over a pass rush because if you cant get to the QB then you're fucked so having guys who can stay with receivers and make plays on the ball is that much more important
I hate Dee Milliner, he has taken the torch from Drew Colemen, who took it from David Barret, he then took it from Ray Mickens. What a decade plus of horrible DBs. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
Is anyone really surprised about Milliner though? He say out half the preseason due to a contract dispute and proceeded to come back for one week of practice then got injured. The fact that he sucks isn't all that shocking.
Solid coverage. Just ran into an excellent back shoulder throw that very few CB in the NFL would have a shot at stopping. Much better than the defensive weak stuff Millner was showing us.
If we can put together a scoring drive here we will then get the ball to start the 3rd. We need to give the D a nice long rest.
