You're an idiot. Sanchez has a career 70 rating and tendency to make some of the most hilarious mistakes of all time. Dalton has a career rating of 86 and has gotten better every year. He's brought his team to the playoffs both season. He's in the top 10 of almost every passing stat this season. But keep on thinking that. Geno Smith is a joke btw, only 8 TD's and 11 fucking INT's? HAHAHAHAHA
Dalton is way better than Sanchez imo, but still has a lot to prove. That offense is also very talented. They have more talent on both sides, only reason we are consistently in ball games is because the coaching staff is excellent, and the OL and DL are good. We have a punchers chance in every game under RR, same with this one. Geno Atkins vs Brian Winters scares me.
I don’t think the Lions front 4 is anywhere’s near as good as the Jets with Mo, Sheldon, Snacks, and Coples; you will see a lot of 4 down. Also, when looking at the front 7 of the Lions and the Jets, Davis and Harris are far superior; pace is a has been and never was IMO. Trust me, the Jets will give you "##" ranked line fits in both the run game and passing game. A big match-up will be length of Nelson and Hill on Pac. I know Dre is larger and Newman has some size as well but Pac could and probably will be manipulated to line up against a taller more physical receiver. I also like that the jets are starting to run the ball with some consistency out of several different formations. This may bring down bigger safeties like Mays and Nelson to help out and leave Hill to blow off the top. All in all, it should be a good one!
Fuck you, you cow tipping troll. Sanchez has 2 AFCCG as well but this doesn't change the fact he sucks. Same for your beloved Dalton. They are both sub par QB's. Enjoy living in your dreamland.
I kinda screwed up there and made it sound like the lions d line was ranked 3rd and I mean the bengals o line is. My apologies. The jets line is definitely better than detroits, but not unstoppable. They'll get to dalton a couple times, but I'd wager we get to geno more often. Geno atkins against your guards is a scary proposition. The safety's should be able to handle hill over the top even if he gets past the corner covering him (Newman will shadow most likely). He's no megatron. The jets run game doesn't really worry me either, the run d has been solid. Geno scrambling could be trouble though.
You guys view of Sanchez doesn't line up with reality. Saying Sanchez is better than anybody right now is damn near absurd. If team success is the barometer for determining who's better then Shonne Greene>>>MJD. Braylon Edwards>>Calvin Johnson. Sanchez>>Matt Ryan. Anyway like I posted in the other game thread. The keys to winning this game remains the same. Pressure on Dalton, stop/contain the run, contain their TE's and AJ Green. On offense control T.O.P, no turnovers, run the ball, o line protects Geno etc.
He's definitely not as good as Sanchez, McElory barely played for us. I like you, please delete the f'in idiot part b/c you will get banned. STOP looking at ratings, mark WON 4 ROAD playoff games including beating the best Bengal team since the Boomer years in Cincy where he was near flawless. mark brought his first 2 teams to postseason too and he WON playoff games. Dalton didn't even compete. mark threw 1 TD in that playoff win in Cincy- 1 more than Dalton has ever thrown in postseason.
when will you learn the QB is the most important position on the field? Dalton has had more talent around him and played weaker teams in postseason yet he hasn't even thrown a TD.
There are other factors involved in each game. If Nick Folk misses the kick in Indy then would that loss be Sanchez fault? Okay then. The defense plays a role in wins and losses, offense, special teams etc. that's why team success can't be used as a individual player stat. Dalton is a good young QB whose gotten better every year.
Just because he played on better teams doesn't make him better. And the 05 Bengals team was far superior to the 09 team. They would have been in the AFC title game had Kimo Von Darth Vader not took out Carson's knee on the first play of scrimmage and forever ruined him.
Probably yeah b/c he had a terrible 1st half BUT he was near perfect in the 2nd half(where we ran it great) and set up Folk for a chip shot FG. wins and losses are team but individuals help those wins and losses, you aren't winning in January consistently w/ poor QB play- ask Houston, ask Cincy, ask SD, ask Dallas,... and our mid 90s teams were better than your '05 team if Chad Pennington stayed healthy. Injuries are part of the game.
I'll make one more rebuttal before I leave this "debate". You are missing the point. If the defense doesn't contain the Colts offense we probably lose. If the backs don't run the way they did we lose, if Sanchez isn't efficient we lose, if Cromartie doesn't give the offense good field position we probably lose, if Braylon doesn't make that big catch we lose. If Folk misses the kick we lose. Too much variable goes into a game to just simply say we won mostly because of a QB. I'd gladly take Rivers, Romo, Schaub, Dalton especially with our good defense.
can you repeat your prediction of last week that the Jets were going to get SMOKED by the Patriots and had NO CHANCE
sure, the D did their job, the O did their job and STs did their job. It happened the next week in NE, unfortunately the D didn't do their job in Pitt. Rivers, Romo, Schaub have had MUCH more talented teams to work with. It's not a coincidence those teams always stumble in postseason when they make it. It happens, our franchise QB ruined his shoulder in 2004.
I don't know it was intentional, it sucked. I was rooting for you. carson's career was never the same after that play.
Bengals fans were all in denial about it too. Carson was top 3 in the NFL that season, only behind Peyton and Brady. He was a shadow of his former self after that injury. Nobody was willing to admit it until after he was traded though.
Shitcinnati Ok you provincial cunt, I'll play. Explain then, why over the course of the last SIXTY STRAIGHT YEARS have people been leaving Cincinnati in DROVES? And why New York City's population has grown in 28 out of 30 censuses dating back to 1698; 1698, back when pre-Shitcinnati merely consisted of your greatgreatgrandfather fucking some barn animal. As for crowded, the two most densely populated U.S. cities are NYC and San Francisco. New York: spectacular; San Francisco: gorgeous. Cincinnati? WKRP ..... unless you got anything else to add. Put it this way: Paul O'Neill (whose sister Molly was a food writer for the NYT) pretty much summed up the difference between NY and Cincy: "In Cincinnati, they consider 'The Olive Garden' Italian." Oh, and that 'whodey' thing that you inbreds ripped off from Louisiana???.....that's beyond 80's lame.
