How are numbers meaningless?Just because your QB has more INT's then TD's doesn't mean that those numbers are meaningless. Numbers and wins are the end all be all of the game.
it's about making plays when they matter most, you can have the Dalton's, Rivers', Schaub's, Romo's etc... I want to win.
Now the Jets have an easier schedule than the Browns? Where do you come up with this shit? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000137115/article/teambyteam-strength-of-schedule-for-2013 Also, Through the first 7 game the Jets opponents have a 20-22 record Browns opponents have a 23-24 record. *Stop talking our your ASS and make statements with Facts, this isn’t Kentucky or OH...we are educated*
Dalton has made the playoffs in both of his seasons in the NFL and has accumulated a 24-15 overall record. That sounds like a winner to me.
Playing the 5-2 Patriots twice kinda bulked up your SOS there, chief, don't get ahead of yourself. Lucky you got the BS penalty or it would have been two losses as well. And I don't live in Kentucky, I live in Ohio. I also graduated from a so called "public ivy" in the same great state. So yeah, enjoy your smelly, crowded, shit hole of a city.
and doesn't have a playoff win, he has been brutal in 2 playoff games against a mediocre Texans team. I actually like Dalton, I think he's a decent QB but so far he's proven you can't win big with him. Let's see if that changes.
Matt Ryan didn't get a playoff win until his 5th year. I'm sure you would take him on the Jets in a heartbeat, am I wrong? It takes longer for others. The Texans have had great defenses the past two years, you can't deny that. Watt is a force and they had Mario Williams and him Dalton's rookie year. He's progressed this year, looks much more comfortable under pressure and has become a leader for this team. I like what I'm seeing. It's too early to tell with Geno, but he's definitely got the talent. Just a matter of whether he's got the intangibles to be great.
Ryan has been a Romo/Rivers type so far too but I think he'll eventually get over that hump. Dalton w/ the talent we had last year(healthy talent) we win 2-3 games at most.
The Bengals are frauds. 85% of the time that they play good teams they shit themselves. Before they beat a broken Pittsburgh team last year they were 0-6 against them and the Ravens going back to two years ago. They've had one of the easier schedules since 2011
At least they're courteous enough to pretend to be good, the Jets just go out and prove how much they suck on a weekly basis.
And we beat them once and minus the turnovers by our rookie QB in the 4th could have pulled out another...All I'm saying is that I appreciate opposing fans coming on this site to talk, but don’t get overemotional when questions and even attacked by others. Your comparison of the Jets to the Browns is ridiculous by both the eye test and SOS as you tried to argue for. When proven wrong, tip your cap and move on; like I am. Has Taylor Mays made any strides this year? How does Newman, Dre, and Pac hold up now that Hall is gone? I think the Jets will collapse the pocket and force Andy to beat them on the move. This front 7 is the best you have faced all year long, it should be interesting that’s for sure! *Oh, and I dont live in the city, look at my profile picture...
Even if they lose the next two games, they'll still be in the hunt, with Buffalo, Miami 2X, Oakland, and Cleveland on schedule.
Both games the next two weeks are very WIN-ABLE. If the Jets dont lose the TO battle they always have a shot with the defense.
You sound like you want to legitimately talk about the game, which is a nice change. Taylor Mays seemed like a lost cause, but he's actually been fantastic with the position change to nickel LB on passing downs. He's done a great job shutting down TE's and receiving backs for us. Hall is good, sure, but he isn't irreplaceable. They played without him against the Pats and still dominated in coverage. Pac Man and Newman have been solid this year, they can get the job done. Dre is still a question mark. He's big, physical and fast, but still raw. He looked good against Det IMO. I think you are underestimating the Bengals line. The Lions fans said the same thing, and they only got Dalton once, and that was on a broken play. They're top 3 in the league according to PFF. I realize you guys have a great front 7, but the O line is more than ready for the challenge. That'll be the match-up to watch.
Guys. Please don't get junc started on Sanchez. It will be the end of thread for sure. Please stay away from Sanchez or else we will all explode. By the way Dalton is as bad as Sanchez. Period.
