It's funny reading how cofident guys were in Sanchez and how the same people bash him now...wonder if this happens with Geno too 3 years down the road...
I know what you're saying. I have been very guarded in my analysis of Smith because of what we went through with Sanchez. But I'll tell you this. I don't think Sanchez showed a lot of improvement from the beginning to the end of his first season, until the play-offs. A lot of that was game-planning. If Geno looks better than Sanchez at this point, I think we chalk that up to a professional OC who knows how to bring along a young QWB( MM) vs. a significantly sub-par one who didn't (Schotty)
At least the Rams have history here. Though I never hear anyone talk about the "good ol' days" when they played here....and all the gangbangers miss the Raiders.
