This guy can make a big difference. Having a real punt-returner, not just a professional fair-catcher{Jeremy Kerley}...makes a big difference. I know the other team is also very aware & scared of him back there. Jets won field position battle today. In todays NFL... a punt returner is a very valuable weapon, since the kick-off return game has been basically removed. Jets would definitely have another win if Cribbs was here all season.

His presence was definitely felt, just in the way the Pats played to avoid him.
Good to see he will also contribute on coverage teams the way he did in Cle.

Don't forget averaging almost 5 YPC on 3 rushes also.

It's crazy that this guy was sitting on his couch.

It's crazy that I've been on my couch most of the day. Nah, not really.

He looked good, but I want to see him do it when his legs aren't fresher than everyone else's.

Cribbs played very well today. Hopefully he can be a real force in the return game for us.

He was a pleasant surprise. I didn't think he would contribute like that. He looked great.

Surprised and glad to have him all at the same time. I could def see him having an impact on a game or two this season either housing a couple of kicks or just giving us great field position versus being backed up in our own end of the field.

He looked really good yesterday. We haven't had that kind of dynamic punt returner in a quite a while now.

Nice to see the spark he gave us, I think eventually he will fill the role Goodson was supposed to have as far as catching passes out of the backfield.

This was a huge pickup. He can contribute at a high level as KR, pr, wildcat, and as a 4th or 5th WR.

I was shocked to see him in the wildcat just days after being recalled from his couch. He made a difference yesterday, and it's easy to see that he's a pro punt returner.

While we're at it, let's also salute Idzik's signing of David Nelson. Both these guys made a difference after being nowhere a couple weeks ago.

I was surprised to see Cribbs in on so many plays, including a wildcat play from under center. But now I'm thinking hey, Cribbs ain't a rookie Idzik just grabbed off someone's practice squad.

Cribbs is the definition of an NFL veteran. It's not like Morningwig has to spend time teaching him how to hold on to and protect the football, so why not? Cribbs has run literally hundreds of plays and he's here for a reason, so use him right out of the box....plug and play baby!

I really don't think we've had a HC or OC in the last 10 years that would have done what MM did with Cribbs last night.

He looked awfully slow in the preseason. Looks like he's finally healthy now.
