This team is lining up to finish at 6 wins...if they can win on of the next 3 it would be very surprising. Question in the second half is if Geno is failing to deliver do they see if Matt Simms has anything to offer before the offseason starts.

 

My god we really need to stop overreacting. Every game Geno is good we hear that we found our franchise QB. Every game he isn't we hear that he should be benched. Just take a deep breath. We'll evaluate Geno in the offseason.

 

This. There is no way you can even think to evaluate the full potential of a QB in half a season. You give Geno a full season and see how he grows. You give him an off season and see if he works for it. You let him come back in training camp and battle it out with whatever other QB's we have on the roster (including other possible rookies). If he shows signs that he cannot learn the game of football by his second year, you move on to the next guy until you find your winner.

 

Not to mention losing our starting QB to a season-ending injury in pre-season.

No one wanted him to start, but still, he would have week 1 had it not been for us getting him injured.

Quietly, it's been a shit year for injuries.

 

Sucks for Goodson. He looked great against the Falcons, and it was his first game back.

 

Goodson may have been Geno's go to guy. This is not good, let's hope Ivory can stay healthy.

QBs are struggling all over the league, Geno is a rookie he's going to make mistakes

benching him will do nothing, Simms is not a starting caliber NFL QB, he never will be

I dont care if Geno throws 10 more picks to end the season, he's shown he learns from his mistakes and is our QB for the foreseeable future
