One of these years, we need to completely smell and get our gigantic prospect- our Crosby or stamkos et al we need a guy to go right from teh pdium to the NHL

This reminds me of D-Day, shoot our men before they got off the landing crafts, start the season with 15 straight road games and 2 west coast swings, 4 games in 6 nights, and we will be 2-7 and 8 pts out of a playoff spot before we even play a fuckin' home game

man, that was a no vaseline bend over gang rape jackrolling of the senses. not to mention paul Stanley and gene simmons of kiss were there promoting their new L.A. popcorn football team. 2 new Yorkers cheering for the ducks. what a waste of money and time. 6 goals for, 20 against so far. we need the biscuit burying beast back so it can be 8 goals for and 29 given up after the next game.
What a disaster this team is so far. I'm trying to keep a cooler head and have faith that it will be turned around but man, I can't even imagine a team looking worse than this right now. What the hell is going on? 18 players don't just lose their ability over the course of an offseason.
As much as everyone thinks I am unfair to Del Zotto, I have never held much stock in the +/- statistic. A player could be standing in the corner, picking his nose, and can theoretically get a +1 because his teamate scored on the play. The fact that he is -7 is meaningless to me.
I totally agree with jonny on this one. I don't care what your schedule is, but teo consecutive games of a combined 15-2 score is inexcusable on any level of the sport, nevermind the NHL.
agreed Hack on +/-...I also agree that MDZ has been pure trash so far. We cant possibly continue to give up goals at this rate......Im hoping its the new system blah blah. But we will have offense woes all year
Pyatt, Boyle, Dorsett, Hagelin ( yes Hagelin) Richards ( even with his 3 fluke goals), Asham, Moore, Pouliot all dead weight and trash. Thats 2/3 of our forwards.....vagina. Look at other rosters around the league...we're not even CLOSE I have no idea what this Fast guy is like yet but Im sure hes second rate talent..... 2nd edit----I forgot Zuccarello, a COMPLETE waste of space. How is this man in the NHL??? OUr lack of goal-scoring is comical
There is absolutely no intimidation on any of those lines whatsoever. They are a bunch of creampuffs.
