"@PFF_Gonzalo: Damon Harrison, David Harris & Sheldon Richardson are the only players w/100+ snaps to miss a tackle yet. #Jets" Harris was not expected, he's always been a sure tackler. The others are shocking on many levels.... Sheldon has obviously came to play, I was not sold on this pick initially but this big guy is growing on me quickly. As a rookie to not let the game be to fast for you is quite the feat. To play as much as he has and not miss a tackle is great news for things to come. If we can allow him to take on more resposibility and free up some more pass rushers our DEF is going to be pretty solid. Also - Love me some Snacks. Who's ready for an upset tonight?
Well, last year we had to be one of the worst tackling teams in the league, so this is definitely an improvement.
Was watching ESPN during lunch today. They kept gushing about the Jets d-line. Wilkerson, one of the best d-lineman in the game they said. Richardson, the amazing rookie. A very nice change of pace.
This would be the first time they've loved him. He's having a great year. I've been one of his biggest critics but he has definitely raised his level of play.
I can't believe how fast he looks. I was critical of him last year too, but it seems he really worked his ass off in the offseason to get into better shape.
tonight will be the night our defense and d-line are put on the map. all it takes is jon gruden to love a player and then everyone knows about him. it will be nice
last season harris didn't have the dline in front of him to let him flow to the play. his play didn't decline as much as everyone thought "mohamedd wilkerson, this guy ................."
I think what flajetfan said is so true. This D-Line is taking a lot of pressure off the rest of this defense. Demario Davis has played really well as well.
well for Harris, it helps to have 3 legit beasts wrecking havoc so u can freely roam into the backfield...he does look better but having MoWilk, Sheldon and Snacks in front of him helps a ton.
it's 4 counting Nick Folk haha YES But these three guys really stepped up tonight, along with big Mo. I'm loving this front 7 and hope Dunbar sticks around to help develop them further, as these guys continue to gel we could be SCARY good up front
