Which part isn't true: That there is a reason to be worry, or that Callahan is not among the most influential team leaders in the NHL?

The Cally part. If he was leading, then more people woul dplay like he does. Unfortunatley, no one play slike he does other than him. No one was physical last year, no one blocked shots like he did and no one played with his energy. Again, unfortunately

Switch Miller and Boyle and those lines would be all right until we're healthy.

Kreider has always played really well in big games, dating back to freshman year at BC and the WJC. Unfortunately we have 6 months of games to play until we get there.

There's a certain "it" factor that some players just have, an aggressiveness in whatever it is they do on the ice, even the way they present themselves off the ice.

The bad news is Kreider hasn't shown that he has that yet.

The good news is JT Miller has it in spades.

Boyle has to stay on the 4th line, its actually a pretty effective 4th line, Boyle-Moore-Dorsett,

We will always disagree on this, you underestimate Cally's worth, he leads by example, not with a big mouth, and is undoubtably one of the most respected Captains in the league

I htink youre missing the point. I love Cally. BUt for whatever reason, no one follows his lead like I said in the other post.

Hes not one of these guys that coaches say " hey put him on Cally's line, that'll get him going". That guy is Stepan.

I see no one on this team play like Cally does. NOt Nash ( big soft pussy), not Hagelin, not Richards, not anyone. HIs leadership for whatever reason is not infectious. Its not his fault but thats the way it is.

So thats why I cant call him the best leader in the NHL like Hack called him.

Thats just the way it is.

heres the quote I responded to.

I dont think any of us can truly believe that through what we've seen on the ice.

Not that IM comparing him to Mess...but just as an example, Mess would give someone a dirty look, and theyd elevate their game immediately. Cally doesnt have that...

See your point but I would gladly go to war with a team of 20 Callys

hahah dude are you doing this on purpose? I would go to war with 20 callys too ( though we may have one horrible defense corps). But that has NOTHING to do his being a leader. We are talking about Cally leading all the non-callys. Hes not the best leader in the NHL.

now youre talkin. Id prefer 19 MDZs and one Hagelin. But Id bench Hagelin and double shift one of the MDZs

I agree. Boyle is fine for the 4th line.
