Ugh, I messed up both my Achilles tendons back in March. Never rehabbed them and they still tighten up on me all the time. That's brutal.

Kind of makes you wonder just how much more the Pats can overcome. So far they've overcome everything, even a star TE going to jail and the other best TE on the bench. Can they still keep that hot luck streak going?

Theyll be fine without him. Wilfork is incredibly overrated.... their D is coming along nicely. The young ones are finally mastering Belidouches scheme and thats fuckin bad news. They keep winning despite injuries on offense and their D is getting better. They are a contender like always. Having stability at QB makes u overcome a lot.

It really makes you wonder if his career is over, a guy of his size and age with that type of injury.

Which is why I keep saying that as long as Brady is still there and can play at a high level, they will always be a solid team. I thought this might finally be the season where they don't do as well cause of obvious circumstances, but nothing.

Having that kind of QB masks a lot of issues.

    2014 is his last season

He'll be pushing 40 and decide to take his gerbils and head off to the Cali bathhouse and his boyfriends

Tough one to overcome but with good coaching and scheming they could be OK. I do know, if I'm the offensive coordinator for any team they play, I make them prove they can stop the run before I start chucking it around. Even when he wasn't playing his best ball, Wilfork still routinely ate up blockers. (Almost literally.)

    He's 36. He won't be pushing 40 until 2016-17.

The Pats have been trending away fron the behemoth nose guard (Wolifork, Washington, Traylor) in a 3-4 for awhile. Since he is almost impossible to replace in that role, look for the Pats to move even more to the lighter, faster DL in the 4-3.
