Yup. Was the same issue with Sanchez. Once you decide to run you have to tuck the ball. Lets see if Geno learns.
I love Richardson. But he is the same as Coples, who we drafted a year earlier, rendering him useless. It's foolish roster management.
I was against drafting Smith in the first place but was willing to give him a shot. I know it's only four games in and he has done some good things but my patience is getting very thin. At this point I would be open to any option...except putting Sanchez back in. He's just as bad if not worse.
pretty much how I feel - I never wanted Smith (and have the posts to prove it ) but we just don't have any options - hopefully we will re-evaluate the QB position (yet again) at the end of the year - it may be that Smith improves but I am not holding my breath waiting for it to happen - once again the Jets have the most interception prone QB in the league - is it something the coaching staff are doing or do we just like to have QBs that help keep the other team in the game?
Geno can throw the ball well, no doubt about it. but there is just too much stupid in his play that likely can't be overcome. this game was enough for me to lose my optimism about him.
Good grief, this board is so bipolar. Some love Geno one game, some hate him another. He's going to have these growing pains. He will have some dud games....add an O-Line that's played like ass and its going to happen. Some of you need to learn a little bit of patience. The guy won't be a stud overnight, he has some work to do no question.

Bad OLine plays makes QBs think quick and sometimes they think stupid. Ducasse is just a lousy player who is a yellow flag prone guard who stinks at pass protection. Might as well play Winters and let him get some experience. Was Peterman THAT bad to lose a roster spot to Vlad?
