No it's not asking for much but when the Geno is getting drilled every passing down with poor protection there isn't much opportunity to succeed. Is Geno playing well, hell no but our O line has to be better than this. In fact our whole team needs to be playing 2 or 3 levels better. I just hate that people seem like they are expecting Andrew luck in his rookie year here from Geno smith when in reality Geno is a flawed rookie QB, like every rookie QB outside of Luck or RG3, with some nice potential to get better.
he had ONE bad year, one year where we weren't a playoff team or at least a playoff contender. Throw away last year w/ Sparano and the Chaz Schilens' of the world.

Some of the penalties are just downright stupid. What the hell are we teaching in practice? These illegal shifts are just downright dumb penalties.
You're absolutely right. This has been a team effort - you can't blame one guy, but Geno has been terrible just like everyone else. I just want to see us build something and show some character in the 4th.
