Curious to see how long this Stepan "hold out" goes. It's clear that the Rangers aren't willing to budge. They don't have much breathing room to do so anyway. Couple that with Stepan having no arbitration rights for leverage and I don't think they're going to break. Although Brassard is probably the only center that has the ability to fill in as a number one, there's some good depth at the position. Stepan is in a tough spot. I think he's gonna have to put his stubbornness aside and show some good faith that the Rangers will pay him after the bridge/band aid deal.
New York Rangers @NYRangers BREAKING: #NYR assigns following players to @WolfPackAHL: F: Haley, Kantor, Yogan & Kristo D: Hughes, Johnson, McIlrath, Syvret G: Talbot
Fair price.... Pat Leonard @PLeonardNYDN 21h This much is very clear: Conor Allen has a chance to make this #NYR roster Andrew Gross @AGrossRecord 21h @sportsology Conor Allen has definitely stood out so far.
Andrew Gross @AGrossRecord 21h Danny Kristo definitely impressed AV and #NYR in camp. Definitely think he'll get an NHL shot at some point this season.
Hey Matt, can you believe Jim Dolan - he just fired the guy who built this championship contending Knicks team, and replaced him with the guy who ran the team into the ground with Isiah Thomas. This dude is seriously fucking mentally disturbed, all I can say is thank god he doesn't know or care what a hockey puck is
You can rejoice in knowing that the other half of that dynamic duo of MSG brass to run the Knicks into the ground is now the exec of the NJ Devils.
Im SHOCKED!!!!! What the hell is Sather thinking keeping our 23 year-old, best offensive defenseman!!!! WTF!!!! And to boot, I understand hes under contract????? My God, the game has obviously passed Sather by. Hack, I dont think you should renew those lousy fuckin seats of yours this year. Fuck that, right? And to think, we could have just cut him and gotten nothing back and we didnt do it????????????????????
MDZ has 15 more career pts in 138 less career games than Staal. PLease just shut the fuck up already. I would take Staal over MDZ any day of the week but to say Staal is the better ofensive player just shows your total lack of hockey knowledge.
hahaha, u know what? Im only going to entertain the village idiot's musings during pre-season which is quickly ending. I promise I wont continue to engage the baboon. But I would love to hear your opinion, Matt, as to who you feel is the better OFFENSIVE player between Staal and MDZ.
Like you say Staal is better defensively, physically, and overall, but MDZ is better offensively at this point...
