Those same scrubs took out the Jets starting QB and Simms may be just as successful when protected by a worthwhile OLine instead of "scrubs who aren't even in the league anymore" Having Tebow behind Mark was a distraction. It would have been a distraction to Bruady as well. Mark Brunell gave an interview and basically said when the b/u QB is having his own press conferences, its a distraction. Big Mistake by the Jets and probably hurt Mark more than helping. They should have brought in a better RB or WR instead of the Tebow Shitshow. Personally I think they should switch between the two QBs throughout the game - Smith & Simms. It would give the jets a chance to win by screwing up the opposing defense and it also gives both or even, all 3 QBs a chance to play. When Mark comes back we could put a fresh QB in per quarter! :drunk:
You can't get banned just because you’re not a sheep willing to believe and blindly follow a HC and QB who have not proved they deserve their jobs and by this time next year they probably won't have them anyways. So far I have been a lot more right than any of you Geno sheep, and just because you are mad and wrong does not give you right to blindly persecute those that are right. Most of you say no to Simms, because he was not drafted and yes to Smith because he was drafted in the 2nd round. That is the kind of logic that will keep a team mired at the bottom of the standings.
No, dipshit. Most of us understand coaches make decisions. If MM wants Simms to start, I'm sure he will start Simms. Geno, won us a football game week 1 when everyone predicted us to lose. Geno kept us in a dogfight against NE making a poor decision to throw on 3rd & short at NE's 30? which got tipped and intercepted. Should have tucked the ball, kicked the field goal and we have a different game. There were an incredible # of drops last week. Smith hasn't played enough yet for you to label him a "bust". I will tell you it's been a lot more fun watching us complete HB screens and protect the football better (side from late game antics). This team has a top defense and a rookie QB. If Rookie QB can protect the football, move the chains and get us into field goal range we can make this season interesting. 99% of your posts are worthless, you are not a "football mind" or a Jets fan.
Umm , the genome threw THREE picks, ALL of them terribly. He has horrible mechanics, makes poor decisions & is not even that good of a runner. Even Sanchez has better mechanics.
Dude, all those GMs and coaches know nothing about football. I'd definitely place my full faith in Jetsfan, a guy that sits on his coach and criticizes from home all day. He clearly knows more than all of them. Why question such brilliance?
That's the best part about this. Of, course it amounts to nothing but another Jets screw up off they end up giving Simms a shot. And if Simms does come in and prove all of the "32 teams passed on him crowd", then he is just a fail. If he makes it... his story can make Brady's look shabby.
