Discuss. Going 2-1 and 1-1 in Division games is the objective. Geno vs E.J. Hopefully our WR will have stepped it up in practice/ready for game day and/or a vet will be brought in this week.
I'm gonna be watching the Bills game on Sunday for sure. Let's see how E.J does against the Panthers.
I seriously think the Jets are gonna blow the bills out of the water. Assuming everyone on the Jets D-line is okay. The Bills rookie QB will be pressued and get sacked a lot and make some bone-headed mistakes. This will be a big test in stopping Spiller and Jackson. If the Jets shut down the Bills run game. We win. Geno will be comfortable at home again and do well and the WR's wont drop as many balls. They just cant, its impossible.
How bad will it hurt to have Colon and/or Ferguson out if one or both are suspended for the game? I doubt Brick even gets fined for the "late hit"; looked like on review he was diving to tackle before OB, but the fracas afterward is usually frowned upon by the powers that be in the NFL head shed. Not exactly sure how no Patsies were flagged/ejected. Well...I know why, but don't want to go down the conspiracy theory route.
Not so sure about that...the Pats didn't sack him one time last week. No problems getting to Geno though.

It should be a good close game. I can't really determine the winner but the Bills will be a challenge. I think their DLine will create a lot of pressure and prevent Geno from having 4 seconds in the pocket. Should be a good game with two young QBs running and slinging it. Good luck to the bills fans who post on this forum.
hoping D'brik and Colon aren't suspended... especially against a pretty good defensive line. that could be key... a battle of two pretty similar teams in certain respects, should be fun. who will play better EJ or Geno?
I hope Ivory gets more snaps, really don't understand why he stopped playing in the 2nd half unless he was hurt.
As disappointing as that loss against the Pats was I don't think many of us expected to be 2-0 at this point in the season when we saw the schedule originally. We definitely have an opportunity to be up 2-1 after this game but it's not going to be easy. At least we have a long break to heal up any injuries, get some strong practices in and game plan for the Bills. Plus we'll have to see if we get any suspensions for the scuffle, how bad Big Mo's injury is, etc.
Yeah if they both get suspended we are in a really tough spot. Should be another close game. Key is Cro not letting Stevie run wild and the Jets containing SPiller. Kind of similar plan to TB, make the QB make big throws but try to confuse him and pressure him. Mike is going to use a similar strategy on Geno, make Geno feel rushed and throw the kitchen sink at them. Should be close game either way.
Bill receivers can catch and they Jets have no one that can cover them. The front7 better get pressure -- the Pats didn't . Bills also have a legit running back/backfield threat
Are people really expecting suspensions? To me theres no way. Just fines. Has anyone ever been suspended for something on the field? I'm sure they have, just cant remember. Hell, didnt Incognito try to kill someone with his helmet the other week, and not get suspended? I dont think theres any way. Just fines.
It was Antonio Smith of the Texans that ripped off Incognito's helmet and took a swing at him with it. He got a 2 game PS games and 1 regular season game suspension.
Coples will be back for this game so will Kerley and Holmes should be more ready then the last two games so I expect us to win this game 30-13
Yes, I remember now. I dont think anything the Jets players did was on that level, right? I know a few punches were thrown, but that's happened before. I cant imagine a suspension.
Might go to this game, but if we have guys injured I may bail...This may be a clusterfuck of a game or it might be a positive game for the team. I cant trust our WR's to help much though. By this week I hope Santonio is up to level
EJ did not get sacked vs the Pats because they did not bring pressure. They probably had a lot more respect for the Bills run game and clearly that is what they were trying to shut down (and they pretty much succeeded re Spiller at least). The Panthers game is a must watch because Bills are not likely to run effectively, especially inside, against an excellent Panther's front. Hackett will need to open up his playbook and have EJ throw downfield which, unlike Geno, he has not yet had to do. How he reacts will give us a better indication of just what he is capable of doing and what the Jets may be in for and how they should game plan. My guess is that they will bring big pressure. Bills O line is adequate in pass pro but they have not proven that they can handle a good pash rush. Their left guard is atrocious and their right tackle, while decent in the run game, is also vulnerable in pass pro.
I think a vet should be brought in. Kerley is coming off of a concussion. Geno v. EJ will be the storyline here and it's an interesting one as EJ being drafted over Geno was controversial. Our o-line needs to contain Mario Williams in pass protection because he can create the kind of havoc Chandler did at times last night.
