Or just act like you and say the sky is falling? There's gotta be hope somewhere, personally I'm calling for Geno and the Receiving corps heads on this one, but the defense looked solid.... albeit they got some help.

I have to stick with what I believe LTJF said last year (I think it was him) "Sub out Mangold and Kerley and throw a grenade into the huddle" This year I can add subbing out Ivory to the mix.

Everyone on the O was to blame. Geno made some good throws and our crappy WR dropped them. Our WR got separation on some plays and Geno threw behind or overthrows them and led to int's. Terrible on both ends, the QB and WR needs to get on the same page.

    My thoughs?

This D is great. Im sorry but we shut down Brady for the entire 2nd half. You can say it was inexperienced receivers and shit but I really loved our front line and our corners were pretty good. Edleman was running all ver the field, to the middle, to the outside, I mean if we stop Edleman, we win.

Geno was...I dont know. He makes great throws, but our receivers are just...awful. Hill drops a couple, Gates drops 5+, Holmes was fine but he never was able to get open. Geno makes decent reads but on some plays he tried to much and makes mistakes. But the drops killed us.

The drops absolutely killed us. Thats all.

The game at Metlife is gonna be much better for us. Were gonna win games with this Defense and Geno not doing too much and thats a wrap.

My sentiments too. The team ppplayed good defense and ran the ball well. Geno made some blunders but also was good at times and promising. They got rid of the wildcat. The wideouts are, at best, a work in progress. But the fact is they made it a fight and I think, after this quick start to the season, have a lot to build-on and are will to battle. That makes me pretty happy.

Running game was solid. Marty should run 15 more times.

Geno sucked...has no internal clock, can't pull the trigger on anything that he can't stare down, and what the hell is with his deep ball? Every one was an under thrown duck. I thought he could toss a ball deep. A shame because this defense looks legit up front and the offense scoring 14 pts a game will be a miracle.

Also special teams - punt returns - are a joke. I have never seen such a piece of garbag unit on a team ever.

yeah... that was a reoccurring theme form both sides of the ball. that comes with time, which he still has.

All you talking about getting "healthy" and shit. If the NE Patriots are "Healthy" in this game...it's not even close. We lost 48 - 3 if those receivers are his regular guys and don't drop the balls.

We had them right where we needed them...injured...down...dropping balls....I mean, shit, Brady can't catch the ball for them. Son of a bitch, I could have caught some of those balls... We couldn't beat a team that essentially had "people off the street" catching balls. We had their running game shut the fuck down. End o' Story! It doesn't get any more set up than that.

Just disgusting...I won't be able to read any news this week....holy hell. Insult to injury now we have a LONG week until the next Sunday so we can get our asses kicked.

Geno sucked tonight, but he can be excused because he's a very green rookie. The receivers sucked tonight - what's their excuse?

Mark's won one game in his career in NE. His first game in NE was this:

8/21 fro 136 yards, 1 Td and 4 INTs (one pick 6 to start the game)

So let's just evaluate Geno off of Geno.

For anyone who wants to bitch about Geno's completion percentage in a rain storm, Brady the first ballot hall of famer completed 48% of his passes tonight.

thats a good read on what happened. keeping brady at bay was key, too bad receivers couldn't keep what was in their hands at times...

These posts are all that needs to be said. It's pathetic that our POS team couldn't do better. The D will get more credit than they deserve. The Pats offense made our D look good. Our offense played like complete dog shit, with the exception of Ivory.
