So I was digging around catching up on the board and I stumbled upon, what I think, is the best nick name for a Jets unit in a LONG time!

We have a new user floating around on The Gang Green, handle "Chandler". His very FIRST post was "The Snack Exchange!"

Fuckin' FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I hope he doesn't mind but I thought this should be put into a poll...or naming contest...SOMETHING....

    Weigh in people!!!

    I don't mind

IN honor Snacks perhaps there should be something like a Cheesehead replaced with a rice crispy square?

If you're going to bring Rice Crispies into it, then they should be called, "Snack, Crackle and Pop."

    Uh oh... I'm dating myself.

I love the snack exchange idea and can't wait until the media pick up on it... Probably not going to happen unless they can turn it into something demeaning though

Snacks is Harrisons nickname. I wouldn't nickname the entire defense that.

How about old school names like " Top 5 Defense" or "Defense that wins more games than it loses".

I like it but we need something that more ferocious

Seattle has the Legion of Boom for their secondary

Tampa Bay has incorporated the No Fly Zone

hopefully someone thinks of something bad ass

No Fly Zone would've been better for the Jets, since that's airplane-related. The Buccaneers should've called it something pirate-related like "Pieces of Great" or "The Plank" or "ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR".

Or they should just re-name the team the Tampa Bay Revises.

The Bucs should call themselves 0-1.

With all due respect OP and as much as I thought that TGG poster 'Chandler-penned' nick name "Snack Exchange" was a good one, we're only ONE GAME intro this season and have not really established a "D" worthy of such a moniker.

In the meantime, may I respectively suggest (however unwieldy):

BILL BELICHICK'S MARRIED MISTRESS & CLASSY NEW YORK GIANTS EMPLOYEE SHARON "no-huddle" SHENOCCA
