Instead of making a new thread every time you need advice, post your situation here.

I'm stuck trying to decide whether I should start Stevie Johnson against the Pats or Anquan Boldin against the Packers. The Packers have a much better secondary than the Pats, but I don't know if I trust Jeff Tuel to get Stevie Johnson enough targets. I feel like they would rather hand it off to Spiller and Jackson 30-40 times a game. I'm stuck.

    PPR league, btw

I'm leaning towards Stevie. I think the Bills are going to get behind early, which would force them to throw the ball. I don't see Boldin being a huge part of the SF offense.

    Pick Two (Standard scoring):

    Tavon Austin V Arizona
    Antonio Brown V Tenn
    Ryan Broyles V Minn
    Malcolm Floyd V Hou
    DeAndre Hopkins @ SD
    Kenbrell Thompkins @ BUF

Malcolm Floyd is the not so obvious choice. He's going to get a lot of targets in the red zone. Gates isn't the same player, Rosario was traded, Alexander is out for the year, and Meachem was cut. The Chargers will try to run the ball early, but the Texans were not very good to RBs last year in fantasy (#1 against). Expect Rivers to have to throw 40+ times.

I would also go with Antonio Brown. It wouldn't surprise me if he was targeted 15-20 times against the Titan's poor secondary.

I would also hold off on starting rookies until you have a better idea of how much they will be used. Thompkins could very well end up having the most productive year of every receiver on your list (Brady factor), but he is not a safe pick for Week 1.

Actually I've read that Gates is in great shape and he's been moving better than he has the last three years. I know some of it's camp talk but he got quite a few looks in the preseason. He could be this year's Reggie Wayne - aging star that seems washed up but has one more big year.

To keep with the topic of the thread, my big decision for Week 1 is an odd one. Almost any other combination of games and it wouldn't even be a discussion but:

    Rodgers at SF
    Big Ben vs the Titans

If it wasn't for the Niners ABUSING Green Bay in last year's opener I might not even be squeamish now but that, combined with Ben's favorable matchup (and no Steeler RB in sight) have me wondering if I should roll the dice Week 1.

Need help with starters.... ESPN standard scoring.

    WR
Which 2 of these should start:
    Vincent Jackson vs Jets
    Steve Smith (CAR) vs. SEA
    Anquan Boldin vs GB?
    I'm leaning toward benching Smith.

    RB
    Which 3 should start?
    Doug Martin vs. Jets
    Green-Ellis vs CHI
    Matt Forte vs. CIN
    Frank Gore vs. GB
Right now leaning toward benching Forte.

    SInce I'm already asking....
    Matt Ryan vs NO
    or
    Tony Romo vs NYG?
Normally I'd start Ryan against 32nd passing D, but NO improved in the offseason while Giants are hurting on defense + Romo was killing them in the 1st season game lately.

    THanks :)

There is a strong possibility that I will come to your house and kick you in the nuts if you don't put Demaryius Thomas in your lineup over Garcon. I don't care who the Redskins are playing or who the Broncos are playing.

Bench Boldin, Green-Ellis and Romo. If you're league is PPR, then Forte should never be on the bench.

Until he starts putting up some numbers consistently, I don't see him as a top tier fantasy starter anymore.

I would roll the dice on Big Ben. LeVeon Bell will not play and Big Ben will throw for at least 300 yards. AT LEAST!

Garcon could be a top 5 receiver this year. He should put Thomas in the flex.

Vincent Jackson vs Jets/Cromartie, or James Jones vs 49ers?

If Jordy is playing, go with V Jax. Jackson will probably destroy Wilson if he ever lines up against him. James Jones was very inconsistent last year

PPR or no? Leaning toward bradshaw if he is starting and no PPR. They should have a nice lead on the raiders and just run it in the 2nd half.

Id go with Boldin here. Boldin is Kaepernicks #1 WR right now, and he will definitely get his fair share of looks. I personally dont trust EJ Manuel right now, and the Pats arent slouches.

I would definitely go Antonio Brown, and then probably Austin.

Definitely Bradshaw here. Peterson might matchup on Givens, and he's a stud CB. Bradshaw vs the Raiders? Cmon now, Ill take that every week.

Monday game, both projected for about same numbers.

    Ryan Mathews vs HOU
    or
    Ben Tate vs SD?

Personally, I can't start Matthews until I see the production. I'd rather be wrong on him week 1 and see something first, plus it's not a very good matchup.

Wouldn't shock me if Woodhead out-produced Matthews this week.

He should definitely put one of them in his flex, but no way Garcon outscores Demaryius Thomas this year.
