Dwyer was released for the well known talent that is... Issac Redmond. They have a patchwork backfield and released him. Id much rather have either Bell or Madu for that matter.

I don't know if the Bills will really want him. He has very little regular season experience, and didn't play all that well in the pre-season. I'm sure he could learn a new offense as fast as anyone in the NFL, but I think he would need a lot more experience before he would stop playing like a rookie, and so I think teams would prefer to take someone with more experience so that you'll sort of know what you're getting even though it won't be particularly good.

I think Manish or Cimini said that McElroy has been offered a deal of some sort by ESPN, so it's possible that he takes that deal, but I'm not sure if it would have some kind of clause that says he can leave the contract if he gets offered a QB spot on an NFL team. Definitely possible that he'd get picked up during the season due to an injury on a team, but I see McElroy as more of a project, where you hope that you can build him up eventually, rather than a guy who you know can step in and keep you competitive while your franchise QB recovers from minor injuries for 2 weeks.

Jake Ballard would be a serviceable number 3 TE.

Just to clarify, I don't think he'll be picked up to start, but a team like Buffalo who has lots of injuries and a 1st year scrub starter could certainly pick him up for depth. Wouldn't surprise me though if he ended up at ESPN on Saturdays, especially given Alabama's huge popularity.

Why would you want Ducasse replaced? He's been and continues to be one of the most improving players on the team

If McElroy couldn't beat Sanchez and Papa Geno, why would any other team -- especially the Buffalo Balls, pick him up?

Ballard is tempting, although if the Pats can't use him with their TE situation, it speaks volumes.

Nobody to replace Ducasse? What the heck are they replacing him for? Isn't he the most improved player on the line, a guy they've been all raving about all pre-season, or that doesn't count?

Starks is 31 years old whilst Oday is 22, I'll pass on Starks and hope our young pick learns and develops. See Vlad Ducasse

Ballard lost a lot of speed after his surgery . That's what I was reading on NFL.com. I say take a look at some CB's. Winfield got cut,but may retire.
