I expect MM to protect him. I'm guessing a 16-28 performance for 215 yards, 1 TD and 1 INTs. I don't think that's too unreasonable in either direction. Edit: Changed from 2 INTs to 1 INT for no reasoning
Id say thats fair. Around 200 yards and 60%. The focus in this game will be on running the ball, screen passes and playing defense.
I think they try to take the air out of the ball 16-22 185 yards 1 td 0 int. nothing spectacular a lot of screens and short to mid throws
I think Morningwood will do his best to hide his weaknesses. Look for a mountain of screen passes and more rushing attempts than we're used to from a MM offense.
If he was just going to play half of a game, I would say average. But since he would have to play a FULL game I would say below average. He may very well throw 3 picks in 1 quarter.
I think Geno will have a strong first game, much like Sanchez did in his rookie year. He has no worries right now. It's when and if we start losing multiple games in a row that I'm afraid he may start turning the ball over a lot. 225 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT for Game 1 in the Geno Smith era
seems like a reasonable stat line falls along the lines of completing around 60% of his passes, getting one or two picks, over 200 yards passing and a couple touchdowns. that sounds about right, something is bound to trip the rookie up, but it should be a decent outing. wether that wins the game or not is suspect though...
Geno will play well. Fans need to give him some time to develop. It's his first real NFL game. 250 yards, 2 TD's, 2 INT's. Revis gets one of those picks.
It will be ugly....Rex won't pull the plug and let Simms take some snaps, but the game will be a joke. News on Monday will be all about Smith being a flop.
