This team is so weird. After all this drama, they finish the preseason 3-1 looking competent. Hey, good football is good football and they played it tonight.

As I'm listening to these announcers...it really "tweaks" me that Simms isn't in the discussion for starting week ONE!!!! If Sanchez is hurt then it's a tossup...which Rookie would you rather see?? From what I've seen Simms is the more polished and ready of the two... Just my humble opinion. If Idzik REALLY brings Seattles thought process to the Jets then it doesn't matter WHERE they were drafted at...or not drafted damn it.
I hate to say this, but Politics just might be the one thing Simms can't overcome this year. Too much money tied up in the guys in front of him.
Feel bad for Rodgers if that ends up being his last play in football. That would be a tough way to end his football dream.
Pretty impressed by Antonio Allen today. He spend the majority of the game play man coverage on the slot WR. That's a tremendous job by him considering he played mostly at the LOS in college in SC's "Spur" role which is a hybrid LB and SS. He was projected as only an "in the box" safety. Granted it's against 2nd and 3rd string WRs but it is good experience for when he has to go against the more athletic pass catching TEs.
