wow I know its pre-season but 20 points in a game. That is more than a double the amount of points Sanchez scored in half of his starts past year. Basically doubling footballs version of the Mendoza line or Sanchez line.
Simms had had a very good game however it's pre-season and those are baby Iggles out there opposite him.
Yes. Always had a gun going back to his Bosco days. His big question marks were telegraphing passes, slow delivery and not sensing the pass rush.
McElroys game against the Lions was the most impressive game I have seen a jet QB play this pre-season or at any time since 2008.
I didn't say he wasn't better than Sanchez, just said it's pre-season and he's playing against guys who are mostly not making the Iggles at this point. I also think Spadola, Rogers and company are likely better receivers than the Iggles 2nd and 3rd tier CB's are defenders.

Just out of curiosity, I looked up the QB stats for the games in progress. I figured that since everyone, for the most part, is playing against 2nd or 3rd string defenses, maybe some other QBs are lighting it up. Not one other QB is having remotely close to the game that Simms is having. Amazing night for this kid!
