Hoping to see this OL improved and opening up some holes for Ivory & Powell. That will help immensely over last season.
I always felt Sparano wanted to see his offense get it right before adding twists and turns off the basic formations. But so many games our offense struggled with the vanilla basic sets plus the wave of injuries. So Sparano never got his full offense installed. Morninwig? Geno can throw 5 pics and MM still install 20 new plays the next day. Keep up or GTFO!!!
I want to see more 2011 and less 2012. Marty seems to understand using all your weapons, mixing thins up, keeping defenses off balance, and making life as easy as possible on the QB. Look what Sporano failed to do last year with just using a running back in the passing game - and this is with every receiver injured. 2012 Powell - 17 catches - 35 targets Greene - 13 catches - 31 targets 30 catches for 290 yards in 2011 LT - 42 catches - 61 targets Greene - 30 catches - 41 targets 72 catches for 660 yards - 600 were YAC and 18 1st downs That is a lot to take away from an offense.
Obliviously we won't be raked as high offensively as we have been in the preseason, but IMO if we can crack the top 16 in offense this year and stay relatively injury free on defense will be at worst an 8-8 team
Because its all about the Sanchez sucks meme, that makes it easier to sell papers, generat clicks, and get viewers. Someone tell me, nad I caught NFL Live this morning, when the offensive lack oc coordinarion EVER gets discussedthats a discussion a handfull of people have in places like this. The average media consumer, never sees beyond the player. Thats just a fact.
Now do you see what Ive been tellling you...its never been about Sanchez, or Geno, or Simms. And consider, the offensive rankings for the last 4 years, were about system, and a competent OC. Sparano did it with forst stringers. MM has done it across the spectrum(though to be fair generally equal...(1s 1s ets) System Matters. Sparano never had one, and Schottys sucked Is it clear now?

Thats your usual game, show up, say something off key, declare victory and go home. But please, address the stats in Zachs post as it relates to the issue at hand.
Im not surprised. First understand what the OP pointed out, and get back to me. And BTW of that Chart, was made after the Vagiants game, those offensive rankings include Smiths game. System matters. Its that simple. Until you get past a Schit system, you have no clue what your players are. (p.s, apologies for the non edit of the other post Its late)
Welcome back Hobbes. You have some catching up to do. There have actually been interesting non-Sanchez related discussions going on. The horror. Now go forth and return every thread once again into its rightful state as a steaming pile of Sanchez centered shit.
Thx From what ive read so far, its been unconstrained hatred but hey, when Rex goes Kotite, even I was shcoked. How the fuck does your starter, go in behind, (and it wasnt the second team line) it was the aecond team line with Peterman, the guard that took up center 4 days earlier under center?
eh, it was in the cards early on. run that risk every time they go out there. besides if he's the starter, he shouldn't go two weeks without playing right? not too bothered by it.
You misunderstand me. Its not about Sanchez. Its only fair to say "how do know what he is, until we wash off the schitt hes wallowed in for 4 years." And so far, the offense looks a schit load better with a negligable difference in personnel, no?
