He seemed a bit upset before they even got to talking about Sanchez. I wonder if he knows the result of the X-Ray and maybe the injury was worse than it looked...
I don't know about that but he was really oddly overly happy about winning a preseason game and taking home the snoopy trophy.
Maybe because he knew all the shitty questions he was about to be asked by such fine "reporters" like Manish and Dick Cimini who are out for blood.
Okay what is this all "Jets fan deserve this" nonsense? I never understood it, you don't like some fans in your fanbase, welcome to joining a big group of people, you aren't going to love all of them even if your interests are the same.
why, may I ask, do Jet fans deserve something bad to happen to them? And also, I really don't think most Jet fans will be losing any sleep over Sanchez possibly missing some time.
Bob Glauber @BobGlauber 5m Jets QB Matt Simms said Mark Sanchez (shoulder) told him after the game he was ok.
Phew, hopefully this is medically ok and not tough guy okay. Sanchez is a tough guy so I hope it's medically backed he's ok too
I guess that's possible, but he had this disappointed look on his face afterwards, and it seemed like he was indicating that he couldn't go back in the game. This is very bad news for the Jets- Geno does not look like he is ready to lead the offense at all. I think the Jets need to look at all available free agent QBs. They won't have much time to learn the offense, but this is a pretty desperate time. The other alternative would be to go into the 2013 season with 4 QBs on the roster. Sanchez probably won't be available for Week 1. Geno made a lot of bad mistakes, several of his interceptions were his fault and running out of the back of the end zone is pretty much inexcusable. McElroy and Simms should be considered viable Week 1 starting options with Sanchez injured. Simms made some good plays, McElroy has been good at times, so it's possible that one of them could seize the moment in the regular season and turn out to be really good.
True. There are good and bad everywhere. And no one deserves what we just watched. I take back that comment. Except Rex. It was his call and it was terrible.
