Just 5 days ago this ass-hole said he couldn't walk, and Saturday night he is seen running full sprints playing catch with Geno.. As much as I think he is a cancer to our team, I am happy as anyone about this progress because our current receiving core is a huge question mark. What do you think the chances are that he is out there Week 1 against the Bucs?

I doubt he plays week 1. Maybe he'll play week 3 against the Bills.

Hopefully he gets off his high horse and realizes that we really need him those first two games against some tough teams... Do something for the team other than yourself for once..

Why call him an asshole? Seriously? The dude could save our team this year, he's done all the right things since 2012 began, people need to drop the hate and move on. at high horse. THE DUDE IS INJURED! You'd prefer him to rush back early before he's ready to possibly make his injury worse?

Oh no wait, he's not coming back for the whole year  People seems so positive of that a couple weeks ago. Everyone always assumes worst case scenerio is always true, and people are just sooooo emotional when it comes to Holmes. Logic all goes out the window, people start fuming like tea kettles as soon as his name is mentioned. It's hilarious.

I still do not understand how this guy went from not walking like a week or 2 ago to running full sprints.

    Was he trolling the media?

Really? Hes an asshole for fucking with the media? Good for him, considering how the media treats this team.

This entire organization should start trolling the media.

Cant wait to have him back.

He's still a jack-ass. I don't like Holmes, but we need him and if he plays well and plays hard each week, he could easily earn the respect back of the fans that saw him half ass it for 2 years.

He was playing well last yr prior to the injury. He worked hard last offseason. Stop dwelling on week 17 of 2011.

That Dolphins game is just one of the many reasons I do not like Holmes.

He's coming off an injury. I don't mind if he's being cautious.

I know it's popular to hate him but I think he still has value to our team and can help us put up some yards. Is he a pro bowler? No. But he can still get some catches for us and, honestly, our receiving corps is pretty crappy so any body capable of catching a couple of passes should be welcome.

Holmes is and will always be a player that doesn't care about anything but himself. He doesn't care who signs the checks as long as they're getting signed by someone. He'll never be a team guy and he'll always be an asshole. Unfortunately the Jets need this asshole to even vaguely resemble a respectable team.

Well he was down so it shouldn't have been a fumble anyway so maybe he just knew he was down and tossed it away as he was a bit more concerned about the pain he was in than a dead ball.
