Damn, sorry my phone is acting up and wont let me paste the link.... If somebody wants to help me out there and post the article. Anyways, La Canfora wrote a nice piece on Wilkerson and how he believes he is going to have a monster year in 2013. Its currently on the front page of cbssports.com. Great to see him get some recognition, he is one of the best d lineman at just 23 yrs old.

He's the next big time defensive-lineman other than JJ Watt (who already arrived).

He's only scratched the surface. Thank God for Karl Dunbar coaching this kid up.

Only pasted half the article. For full article, check out link.

    This is nice to see.

I can't wait to see how nasty our D line is going to be this year, with Shelly joining in the fun as well, he is so fast! Wonder who the NE backup QB is when we play?

Pretty amazing that we got him at the 30th pick in the 2011 draft. Big time steal, and he'll only get better.

about time the jets "hit" on a stud DL player thru the draft, taking a page from the giants.

He'll be paid. If there is anybody that you should be worried about being able to pay, it is Coples. Once he has a breakout season, I have a feeling that he will want big time money. Mo seems more like a hometown guy.

One of Tanny's few gambles that paid off. Mo has gotten better every year and it's good that he's starting to get some much deserved attention.

Play GM: Do you offer MoWilk a long term deal NOW (at a discount of course) or wait till next year and pay him 20-30% more? Or tag and lose him after 2015?

On on hand the rookie pay scale is great in that teams no longer hand rookies bukka bucks. But when a rookie turns into a monster after 2 years, is that the time to pull the trigger?

have to wait - the jets have money coming off the books soon and the salary landscape is gonna change for this team significantly over the next 1-2-3 years.

i could see a tag in play for wilk - may depend a bit on how richardson performs.

hopefully we wont have a monster QB contract holding us buy the balls during that time.

I think I may actually use that term from now on. Just to see the puzzled look on peoples' faces.

Good to see Wilk getting love. I had a Revis jersey so i need a new one now, really considering buying his as I think and hope he'll be a jet for a long time.

Darrelle Revis got paid twice. He got a better rookie contract than the slot would normally have commanded and then he held out in the season that would have sort of brought things back into balance for the Jets and got another big upfront payout.

I get that you're not happy that he's gone but at least be accurate about why he's gone. If the contractual relationship had been a two-way street between Revis and the Jets he'd still be here. Instead too often it turned into Revis riding a steamroller right at the Jets and playing chicken until they swerved.

No team can deal with that situation with any player who is not an all-pro QB and even the QB's cause issues.
