VERY interesting! I wonder if we found a source to some of the anonymous stuff from last year.

    Chaz Schilens speak up.

    Clearly no love lost.

All you need to know about Schilens, is when he was forced into action, he managed to make a perfect Back shoulder throw, for a TD, look like Santonio Holmes circus catches on the EZ sideline.

Funny, how he managed to get asked about Sanchez, but not why hes on his third team in as many years.....

The Jets didn't pursue Schilens, because Schilens the Jets wanted to UPGRADE the receiver position. Schilens was a big part of the PROBLEMS we had last year

That was a Detroit Free Press article I think. Cimini was re-reporting what they printed.

The funny thing is Chaz says the jets were looking for scapegoats everywhere but at QB yet the one that was the scapegoat for awful players like Chaz was mark Sanchez. mark was blamed for everything and no QB in the league could win w/ Chaz as a starting WR. He went from 5th WR in danger of being cut to #2 WR thanks to injuries. That is a major reason why we stunk.

If so I stand corrected. But of course Cimini had to run with it.

The actual article and not the Cimini ripoff-and-repeat nonsense:

Competition fierce as six (or seven) Detroit Lions have shot at fifth wide receiver spot

    By Dave Birkett
    Detroit Free Press

Santonio Homes is going to rip Sanchez to shreads one day? Derrick Mason did and Plax chose to stay quiet so he could get a job again. They are telling the truth accept it!

Notice how all the players that sucked are speaking out? you think by bashing Mark Plax wouldn't have been able to get another job or was it b/c he was terrible?

Chaz is entitled to his opinion. Plus it's not like he's lying.

Well Plax caught the winning pass in the SB and was a pro bowler and had to come from Eli to Sanchez, Holmes caught the winning pass in the SB and came from Big Ben to Sanchez and saw his stats decline and Mason is a 15 year vet who knows what a good QB is and what a bad one is. I would tend to believe it's Sanchez. In 2011 there would have been a mutiny if they did not get rid of Mason. Those guys were ready to go in on Sanchez.

“For me there?” Schilens said. “Really, when it came down to it, I kind of felt like they were looking for scapegoats and besides everyone except for, you know, maybe the quarterback position, and it was what it was. When free agency didn’t start off right away, I just kind of understood what it was and part of the business.”
