Except these are direct quotes from Marty Mornhinweg. No anonymous sources.

Even though I believe your post was sarcasm.

Sanchez is Rex's first born in football terms, a coaches first QB is his first son

I'm not trying to boil anything down but loyalty lies deep in the football landscape

The same reason John Harbaugh got rid of all those guys he inherited on that Ravens D to get his own guys and the same reason Jim Harbaugh never went back to Alex Smith

Coaches wanna play their guys and GMs want their guys to play

I think you do if the guy you want will still be there and you can add 2 high ceiling prospects as well! This is my point.

Milliner was/is the best player in this draft class. If you care i can expand in detail.

You don't reach for a player either. That was the problem with Sanchez. He should have been drafted in the second Round. Where he was drafted was higher than his talent level.

Don't ever really post decided to share how i feel why not

I have always backed Sanchez since he started as a rookie but after last year it is pretty hard to stay on his side...saying that i still hope maybe he can prove pretty much everybody wrong

I also don't think its a bad thing if Geno sits to start the season we got him for a steal in the 2nd round with a contract that is 4 years for 5 mil. if he doesn't pan out to be what we need ether then on to the next

If Sanchez starts this season, Rex will need 10 wins to keep his job. No way around it.

Sit Geno til the bye week if he's not ready

    Nothing to lose

But if he shows he's ready this preseason then you have to play him

The problem with that is NOBODY in the NFL has respect for Nacho's abilities... This leads to the opponents confidence being sky high on game day... I'd rather them be unsure about the unknown and that unknown (Geno) keeps them guessing.

    Lets put it this way

    1st 9 games Sanchez goes 2-7

    Insert Geno and finish 5-11

We got a young improving team

Top 5 pick to add a dynamic offensive talent and Mark is exiled while Idzik sees progress made and gives Rex one last shot

If that is the plan... Thats sad... This is a good team and leaving a great D out to dry is dumb.

This D-Line is good, the secondary especially on the corners is good and our LB's are good. Give them a chance to be great!

Start the guy that will lead this team and get respect of out opponents.

The pessimism along this fan base is simply amazing.

I know it will bother you to no end, but look at how Michael Vick did before his jail time and after his jail time. You will notice something.

P.S. I am NOT saying Sanchez will have a turnaround. Just as much as thinking Sanchez will turn it around is ludicrous, it is simply ludicrous that Sanchez will shit the bed again. It is a new season. Get a grip.

Can the offense be any worse than last year and they still won 6 games....I dont see them getting a top 5 pick at all

I just doubt he can put it all together before the trigger is pulled

Sanchez is a hit or miss QB mostly miss

I hope he gets it together if only for his own sake imagine the embarrassment of shitting the bed

First it was Schotty, then Sparano then Tanny didn't put any talent around him

When will Mark take it into his own hands

Honestly at this point I don't care who starts but if this becomes another "He gives us the best chance to win" season I'll lose my mind.

a completely uncalled-for diatribe. never boo any player, give everyone a trophy win or lose, all games end in a tie. Utter bunk.

Every person on that field, especially the Jet players, knew that those fans were booing Sanchez and not the team. Given the chance, most of the players probably would have joined in. That being said, I think it is foolish to boo during training camp. Sanchez's constant turnovers, bad passes, and terrible play in training camp should be met by loud and derisive laughter, not boos. Save the boos for game 1 vs Tamps if the Jets are dumb enough to shovel Muck out there to embarrass the team yet again.

Interestingly, it was the Sanchez apologists who claimed that comments made by players & coaches in the post-game press conference (following the buttfumble game) were a big cover-up -- that it wasn't Mark's fault and that he was being a good teammate by playing the scapegoat.

Now THAT is something to mock, if you're looking for material.

Actually, by most accounts, Sanchez has looked sharp in camp. Let's see if he can translate that to the field with consistent accuracy and limiting turnovers.
