what did I miss...? Because ive heard repeatedly that Sanchez sucks on short passes ans screens, despite the fact that The Previous Staff didnt utilize them. Because of Sanchez. Maybe....just Maybe...if certain folks took some time to understand the Jets offensive system, we could have a conversation. Junc is so right. (heres a clue...coryell(Schotty) ehrhardt perkins. Weis, NE..adapted, WCO) Paul Brown, tree. 3 branches. One really sucks in todays environment. Guess which one the Jests have been running. The writer didnt say, good. He said Mastery. Now go read two years worth of shit posted here, Then watch the St.Louis game. Sanchez, excels in this environment. Now...that is not to say Geno cant be better, he has a quicker release, and a large part of his college offense was..in the same vein...sanchez has his hands full... It would just be nice for those that made shit up whole cloth to man up (oh, Sanchez cant go short). The truth is, his ints and completion percentage are directly attributable tp Schittys down and outside mentality.
incorrect, i have asked it numerous times in this thread. you are too busy debating complete bullshit to even remember. also incorrect he has not. he has NEVER consistently done the things i have brought up. he has consistently done them incorrectly. i am not the leader of any groups. you are obviously just lumping me in because i almost NEVER post stats. i am not a stats guy. i dont have the time to go and hunt down stats, i will look at them if someone else goes and gets them and uses them to help to back their position. i think the one time i have gone and hunted down stats was to look at sanchez completion percentage at or behind the line of scimmage in comparison to other qbs. sancho was as i had thought not very good. so please dont call me the leader of the stat crew, thats not me. i am not a part of any clique on this board so please go outside and play a quick game of hide and go fuck yourself. the beauty is i can still read the board if i get banned for a short period. and thats what i am interested in right now. hearing from people who are at camp watching whats going on.
if you aren't I don't know what you debate, you don't leave a mark b/c instead of debating all you do is whine about me.
there is no debate to be had. the debate about mark was over after the first time i brought up all of his problems and nobody addressed it. that was the end of the debate about mark sanchez. the rest of this clusterfuck is just you doing everything you can to get a rise out of people. i will not sit here and just watch you bullshit people into thinking mark sanchez is a good qb. that is the only reason i even bother reading most of hwat you say.
I suggest you actually go back and read the posts and see exactly what I wrote rather than interpreting what you think I wrote.
i know what you wrote, you wrote the same 8 different stances at least 10 times each. it would take me all night to read them as i am sure you have at least 500 posts in this thread. dont let me keep you, i assume its time for you to punch out for the day.
like I suspected, you ignore the truth and would rather whine about me than to try to attack my arguments. we used to have a ton of great posters that would give me a great challenge when arguing w/ them, unfortunately I am stuck arguing w/ folks who don't have a clue and need to make things up. I don't punch in and out but thanks for asking though I will be leaving the office soon. Someday when you get a job you'll know what that feels like.
the points you bring up dont matter. thats what you dont grasp. how mark sanchez would fare with the giants when they won superbowls doesnt matter. thats the type of stuff you call debating. i worry about how the qb plays his position, you worry about a bunch of shit that is impossible to quantify. its what you do and you do it because you can go on forever "debating" about it. but the bottom line is the stuff you talk about is pointless and has nothing to do with the fact that mark sanchez can or cannot be a real life nfl quarterback. or even what that entails.
don't interact w/ me if you think it is pointless. Saying NYG would have one w/ Mark is a valid point, you guys act like Eli is God and he carried NYG to 2 SBs when that isn't the case. Eli was treated by NYG fans the same way Mark has been treated until he won a SB and Eli wouldn't have a SB app let alone 2 wins w/o great performances in title games by his D/STs- something Sanchez NEVER got from his D/STs. All I worry about are wins, nothing else matters. We have a QB that we know we can win but you want the next flavor of the month hoping he can do what Sanchez has done already.
the evidence points to mark sanchez being a guy a team can win in spite of rather than because of. thats the problem. you just see a couple wins, some of us can see the bigger picture and understand what we are looking at, and some of us can even grasp the skills that a quarterback must have in order to be successful. mark has a couple of them. which doesnt cut it 95% of the time.
Junk, arguing that Sanchez is decent is like arguing that the earth is flat. People are tired of arguing with you over a debate that is over, and has been over for some time. Everyone who has watched every Jet game for the last 4 years, other then a delusional few, knows Muck is dog shit. If Sanchez is unfortunate enough to get shoveled out during the regular season, the boos that rain down while he shits himself yet again will be deafening. If Izdik and Rex have any good sense, they will spare Sanchez, and the Jet fans, that embarrassment.
Thats what they do. Its not response, or debate...,its just hate. You and I happen to incur the response of wrath, while making observations. Just like above. Sanchez, mastering the short game that the haters claimed he sucked at, when Sparano never used it.
The thing that you don't understand is that it is incredibly difficult to win in spit of your QB. Can you win games here and there? sure but 2 postseason app? 4 postseason wins? all on the road? not happening. I have never said he was great but a team can win w/ him and that is all I care about. I don't force anyone to argue, go do something else if you don't want to participate. pretty witty calling him Muck! you are an average fan and that is ok, you will boo and want a new QB and HC then 2 years later you'll want another new QB and HC. that is what fans do.
I wonder what the argument will be be if Sanchez loses out in Camp to a 2nd rd rookie Qb when the west coast offense that he should thrive in has been installed for him to succeed.
I have said over and over again he may never succeed again here, his best chance to save his career is going elsewhere. If this competition is close like it has been I expect they'll name Geno the starter and unless he gets hurt Mark will finish his last year as a backup. It doesn't change anything I have said about mark the last 4 years.
I agree with everything you said and you have been consistent in your blind faith for Sanchez. Hopefully you will root for Geno as hard if he is named the starter.
