The fact is we just don't know yet. So far Geno has been better than advertised why must Sanchez suck for Geno to look good?

Any way as I was saying with 1/4 of the offense installed and I am assuming very generic defense we just do not know. Not throwing picks is not necessarily a good thing Tebow did not throw Picks in practice either. In teh NFL you have to be willing to throw to covered receivers we will see if Geno can read defenses and fit a ball into tight windows. We all now know he has very good arm.

    Let kid develop.

Way back when the arguments were about Vinny then Chad then mark, it doesn't matter who the QB and HC is, there will always be a loud segment of the fanbase calling for them to be removed.

That is why I posted patience is dead. People are like, hey, Geno hasn't fallen on his face, or gone 1 for 12 with 5 INT's, so he is good to go! He is not some moron. He had a successful college career, he knows how to throw a football, none of this is shocking to me. What we need to see is game action. People acting like the QB battle is over or Geno has a big edge are not thinking straight. Not their fault though. This is the age we live in now.

Honestly I wouldn't care about him being an ass if he could slice up a defense through the air

But since he can't his decision making both on and off the field is embarrassing

Perhaps you're right on the first part. However, Mark not separating himself from a guy who "can't compete with him" is damning on Mark's part.

I agree that patience is dead.

Patience is dead in all aspects of our society, not just football.

Funny thing though, patience was dead in New York two decades before it happened in the rest of the nation. In all aspects.

To be fair, that's because the ball is always 15 yards out of reach.

He did wipe the snot or eat the hot dog last season. I think he has matured a bit since then.

Being criticized for wearing a headband is a bit ridiculous. Longtime Jet it is not a gay headband most gays would not be caught dead wearing a headband like that. It is a bit of a girly head band though. :)

In team drills they said Rex brought the heat and disguised everything

Take it for what it's worth

Pretty sure this statement is completely incorrect.

WOW. Amen to that. Well said.

I'd add that New York doesn't count and isn't so important nationally. We're only a segment. NATIONALLY, patience doesn't count. All over the country people have no patience.

Teach it to your children. Preach it in your neighborhood. Nothing is given NOW. Some things are worth waiting for. If I work hard enough for it, I can eventually have it. Nothing wrong with that.

In the report Sanchez faced mostly the ones and Smith the two's and struggled when he faced the one's.

A new offense will struggle this early in camp when the defense steps it up a bit. The verdict is the offense is behind and Geno is still a rookie in his fifth practice.

The press and all the coverage is all about numbers. Numbers only matter when the games start. What you want to see now is making the proper reads and throwing an accurate ball. Like all rookies except maybe luck Geno is and will struggle with his 2nd and third reads how quickly he learns will determine when he plays.

If Sanchez looks excellent in preseason and Smith also looks excellent, explain to me how that is damning on the part of Sanchez.

Geno was also playing with the offensive second team when the 1's came in. Just saying "he struggled" doesn't tell us jack shit.

Why did he struggle? It's this route of half-assed reporting that is meant to get fans up in arms. Not to mention the FACT that the morons reporting it don't understand why he struggled.

This is why I take so little from these reports. The people reporting it aren't qualified to do it.

or you might not get it at all. harsh but true, training camp is great provider of that lessen.

still, better to try your ass off and fail than expect something immediately and get mad when it doesn't.

instant gratification is a bitch, stay far away from her...

we need to look big picture, and take what we're given with a boulder of salt.

Read the article not the sensationalized headline. She did a good job of breaking things down for Smith which showed he struggled against the one's and other articles said Rex stepped it up a bit on defense.

Looking like a rookie can't the ball off struggling get the play called. This is where Geno will struggle early on. Remember most of the offense is not close to being in.

    Pretty much this. [IMG]

It won't end until Nacho is on the sidelines holding a clipboard OR off the team completely.
