What gets me is the herd mentality and ungratefulness of fans. I have no problem with you thinking Mark needs to get better or even replaced. But to not give him credit for when he has played well and has actually won more in the post season than any other Jets QB is just astounding at the hate.

Who thought this team was stacked in '09 who thought this team would beat the Patriots 2010. Sure rag on Mark for the bad games but to treat him like he has done nothing is just plain ignorance.

Mark has been up and down his entire career with some really bad moments. The bad moments came from a combination of WFH and Sporano and injuries.

Give the kid a chance to rebound with a good OC and healthy weapons if he does not he still not fuck your sister wish him well. Then we can hate on Geno.

I can see the posts already about Geno. He holds the ball to long he never takes a chance he is making the line look bad.

I'd hate to tell ya but I'd take Henne and Freeman over Sanchez.

Henne for one, school Sanchez's ass 4 times in a row I believe from 09-10

Freeman is slightly better than Sanchez just altogether.

This is what happens when people "debate" with junc. He says four playoff wins... someone says yes but he was not the focal point and his issues are still many. He is scared in the pocket and innaccurateand all of a sudden we hate the fact we won playoff games. Thats not the case people are just trying to get junc to inderstand.

And here we are. I talked about his actual problems the ones he is responsible fpr. And junc says he picked up a few bad habits and jumps right back to playoff wins against jets history

    Its retardedness

not sure what WFH stands for, but you forgot general lack of development form coaches and poor ability to execute under adverse situations.

I appreciate Mark for what he was able to do, I won't say he did nothing for us in the grand scheme, that patriot game will live on forever but the fact that he's regressed, no matter what the circumstances are for that happening, outweigh his accomplishments.

I know, its very "what have you done for me lately" and might seem impatient, but its really only because, while Sporano and lacking weapons were a problem, the things he had to for HIS part were so lacking and not worth keeping if it continues.

If he made the best decisions he can in the face of poorly placed receivers confused on their routes a majority of the time I'd give him slack, but some of the things he was doing were inexcusable for a QB this far into his career.

that said, Sanchez is on contract and has an opportunity to remain our main man should his shortcomings be surpassed and he become the man that everybody says he is based on his 4 postseason wins.

I won't be ungrateful, but I won't stick up for a guy that can't produce either. he's shown none of the ability to what he did again, hardly anybody would be on his ass if he did that.

FYI, Geno was one of the best college QBs when it comes to getting the ball out of his hands... If you are going off a few reports from camp, thats probably not a smart thing to do being that he is a rookie and is adjusting to the tempo and playbook.

    09 Week 5: Dolphins won

    09 week 8: Dolphins won

    10 Week 14: Dolphins won.

3 out of 4. Henne wins. but cool stats, you missed the one that mattered though.

Football is a TEAM SPORT, So many of you forget that. You said Sanchez was "Schooled" by Henne, and I showed you that they had incredibly similar stats through the 4 games in question. Regardless of who won the games the QBs played at similar levels. Neither one was "great" in those games. Shit one of the was won 6-10.

And while we're discussing team results, You also appeared to miss the stats that matters most, and that's which team went to the AFCC. Not to mention that in 2010 Sanchez had better QBR and Passer Rating ( WITHOUT the 2 playoff wins where he played some of his best football ).

    "Schooled"

Something to be said about having Tavon Austin and the amount of screens / throws behind or at the line of scrimmage. I'm going to hold my judgement till I see him play for myself at an NFL level, but it's definitely easy to get rid of the ball quickly when you're throwing WR screens to a top talent from the shotgun 40% of the time.

clearly I've over stepped my bounds, I apologize.

I would still take a healthy Henne over Sanchez, that's just me.

Yea,.. I think a lot of people have just such a bitter taste in their mouth from last season that most people wouldn't even "let him throw them a paper bag sandwich" ( whatever that means ).

It's just so easy for people right now to blame Sanchez for last year when there are so many other factors at play.

How was he right? if he came out and played like last year in years 1 and 2 then you could say that but he was successful his first 2 3/4 years.

if we have Chad henne or Josh Freeman in 2009 and 2010 we don't win a single playoff game.

Henne didn't "school Sanchez's ass", he played well against our overrated D. In those 2 years Sanchez had 3 excellent games against Miami and 1 bad one. Henne had 2 good games, 1 bad one and 1 mediocre one.

Who said he was the focal point? this is what happens when you makes things up. He wasn't the focal point but he was vital to our success.

2009 week 8 Miami beat us by 5 and they had THREE non offensive TDs. They won 30-25 and Henne led them to 9 pts.

2010 week 14 they won 10-6, their O did nothing and Holmes dropped a wide open TD that game.

The first game of '09 he was excellent against us leading a final score drive to win it, the one we won in 2010 he was good but Sanchez outdueled him.

I hope someday you become GM of the Giants, Pats or Phins.

Was going to add Buffalo, but I'm pretty sure he'd probably improve that team.

If you deduct the time he spends slapping the ball and the pump fakes, Sanchez looks to have a quicker release than Smith.

Where the ball ends up is another matter.

To me, Marino is the high water mark for getting the ball gone.

Only 8 QBs you would rather have over Sanchez in the NFL. Wow! Just wow!

Unlike Junc you answered the question correctly. The question was how many QBs would you NOT take over Sanchez. At least you agree that Sanchez is bottom 10.
