I'd rather one after the first game, IF its that clear that they know who to go with. If Geno regresses hard in the next few days and Sanchez steps up than let it be give sanchez more time to get in it with his recovers, if Geno continues to be positive and Sanchez's advantages in experience are nulled than focus on him the remaining time. they want to end this quickly as possible with good reason.
With everything people are already saying about Geno, I think he's winning his teammates over very quickly.
Oh come on already. Are you a kid or something? Being linked to Jay-Z is going to give him confidence? Sure hasn't worked for the Nets.
another interesting idea: http://thejetsblog.com/reports/2013-jets-training-camp-a-day-of-extremes/ "It is still very early, but one gets the impression that Stephen Hill is in a groove right now with rookie QB Geno Smith. This is totally conjecture, but I have to wonder if it is because of the velocity of Smith’s passes. The ball spends less time in the air which allows Hill to use his height and explosiveness to quickly grab the ball over much smaller defenders. Passes with a slower velocity take more time to get downfield, allow the defensive back more time to set up, more time to adjust and defend the ball … just a thought …"
One thing that can definitely be said about Geno's college career, in 4 seasons, 3 of them with more than 350 attempts, he never threw more than 7 picks in a season and in 1465 attempts in his college career he threw a total of 21 picks to 98 TD's. That's a 1.4% interception rate and a 6.7% TD rate. And yes I've been missing in action for the last month and a half to two months, when your diagnosed as having two strokes since the middle of May football becomes less important to you, in fact a lot of things become less important.
I wish you good health, enjoy life as much as you can. I am sure your condition was/is scary so good luck recovering and hopefully you don't have another.
You seem butthurt Anyway being around successful breeds the mentality to want to be successful at your craft, it's a certain confidence yet relaxed mentality and Geno seems different from before mentally and on the field
Butthurt about what? I keep reading these doofy posts from you. I wouldn't normally care, but you seem to post a dozen times in every thread. And they mostly suck. Are you a teenager or just mentally deficient?
You guys kill me I make a post about Geno and Jay-Z now I'm a teenager but I'm going to be mature and follow TGG rules and let this one slide
Just noticed I thought you were Hobbes at first which is why I said butthurt and about the Nets Jay-Z dropped them quick Anyway lets squash this
Thanks Junc, we've had our football disagreements but hey that's football This is the last post I'm making in reference to my condition, but I'll say it because it's important. I almost missed the symptoms, in fact I did miss the symptoms. I went to the doctor because I'd developed a stutter, was having trouble with memory and was making a lot of errors at work and in my personal life in analysis (I work with statistics in my job). I thought it was from lack of rest so I went to the doctor to get something to help me sleep. Fortunately my doctor noticed something and had me sent in for an MRI and other tests which discovered the strokes. So my advice, if your out of sorts for more than a couple days GO SEE A DOCTOR! Now back to football
You are though and it's not even a bad thing Your passion for Sanchez resembles mine of Revis and how I was torn when he was booted from the green and white I understand you Hobbes, I see your inner child and I'm saying "come out and play"
Very touching, now let's get back to talking about Football, the Jets, and our QB of the future. I'm liking what I'm hearing from the reports, Geno has played mistake free football and is making all the throws Sanchez couldn't, which sounds great, really can't be long till this guy is sitting in the drivers seat, he may start week 1. I really want to see what this team can do with a competent QB behind center.
