London would be a God awful choice. No one would be willing to play there (No one worth starting). The logistics of it are insane. Toronto maybe. Not sure if there's anywhere in New England that'd be interested in a team. New Jersey should get a team.
Boise, Idaho or any of the larger Montana towns. Salt Lake City maybe. Portland...Austin/San Antonio..I support Alaska and Hawaii getting teams also.
I'll skip the homer choice as Vegas doesn't deserve a team. You're not going to get the sports betters out of the books on a Sunday. Fuck LA too.... they don't deserve shit either. San Antonio would be choice #1. They support the Spurs and it's a football rich city. They have a stadium in place that can support an NFL team as well as having good places to eat around that stadium and built in tourist attractions. London; yeah it's a logictical nightmare but how awesome would that roadtrip be? Toronto is boring but London. You'd have a sportsbook in the stadium and maybe even some fish and chips.
Why New Jersey? They already have 2 NFL teams. Add Eagles to the mix, NJ residents have 3 teams within 90 minutes distance.
San Antonio. They have the 7th largest city in the nation. Its amazing to me they dont have more sports franchises as it is. Florida, New York, and California all have 3 NFL teams and other sports franchises, its time Texas has 3 as well. Oklahoma City would be my next choice. And I think Las Vegas would be interesting. Don't know how they've missed out on sports franchises over the years.
Its all about balance ... currently the league is balanced division/team wise. If you wanted to expand, the league would almost be stuck adding 4 teams per conferance ... either an enitire new division per - or add a fifth team to each of the 4 divisions per. If the league went global ... could do a European/Candian division (London, Berlin, Paris, Quebec) for the AFC, and a Pacific Division for the NFC (Hawaii, Tokyo, Sydney, Soul) Sorry - its slow here at work today. Short week and my mind is wandering.
1.Austin,Texas -Huge metro area that to this stage hasn't had a pro sports team to support. You can never have enough football in Texas. This would be a slam dunk 2. Omaha Nebraska- Decent sized market in the heartland.
move the bills to chicago. move the raiders to LA. move the jags to san antonio. if you rule out LA, then hawaii should get the team.
hawaii? seriously? i have never seen the stadium in hawaii full. not for hawaii games, not for pro bowl games, not for any games. ever.
