On one of the other boards a guy posted his friend got $50 uppers with no preseason and free green parking. Basically he's paying $800 for his 2 seats and gets a free $35 parking pass for each game.

23 bucks is all these things were ever worth (maybe less even). I can't say I've ever been up that far but it's got to be ridiculous. Row 16 is as high as I've ever been after my original "representative," Manny, stuck it to me but good. But even that was a terrible experience. At Row 24 they should be issuing oxygen masks for God's sake. Woody really needs to seek advice from a good, quality pricing firm with a lot of price-point experience. I'm not saying they could fill the stadium... I don't think even Harry Houdini could do that... but the Jets and Giants are two different franchises with two completely different fan bases. And the "dynamics" of the stadium (I'm being kind by not saying it's a POS) have to be taken into account along with the fan base. The Giants did an excellent job of matching this up. I believe they filled the stadium (not 100% sure), but I personally know a guy with Giants tickets in the last row and he's okay with that. But the Jets need to take into consideration, for example, the pricing policy of charging the same amount for Row 5 as you do for Row 24... assinine and nonsensical even to the common ordinary lay person. Every Section needs to be priced slightly differently (50 YL Sections slightly higher than 40YL Sections and so on. Then, every 5 rows needs a price break too... a drop of, say, 15% with each set of 5 rows going up, until you reach the last row and price it at $20 or whatever. But the entire price structure of the Jets and the new stadium is out to lunch as evidenced by what the market is telling them. Want to fill more seats, start pricing them realistically from the source... the ticket office. But of course, they're not going to do that. Woody should just rope off Rows 17-24 and close them down already. It's embarrassing already.
Giants pricing= Super Bowl and PSL for last row of UD. No one, no one, could be happy sitting in the last row. He's stuck with those seats and lives with it because his team delivers and the owner does not embarrass himself.

Also remember the Jets decided to go into detail about how bad the upper deck will be. The Giants went with a pricing structure they knew would work and even they have had problems selling out. Their ownership also is much better. After year one they said no price increases for a while we gave a pretty big increase as it is. The Jets after year one raised their prices by $5-$10 a ticket in PSL and club seats. We are going into our fourth year in the new place. One year of increases for the Jets and an AFC Championship game. For the Giants no price increases and a Super Bowl.
