I think I registered in December, 2000 originally. Which means I spent 12 years and 9 months of my life without this board and 12 years and 7 months of my life on this board (not that I posted every day but still). That doesn't include time I spent on ESPN and JI before TGG was created.

I came over here from the old Official Jets Forum along with GreenGuy back in 2000. We were recruited by Petro. Actually, he threw us a life preserver as the old Jets board had become a cesspool by 2000. Seen a lot of folks come and go over the years but on whole, we have a great group of posters. We don't always agree, but isn't that the whole idea of a messageboard?
I have been here for just under 10 years I think - as an overseas fan, back before I got gamepass and regular access to the games it was hard to feel so involved as you were having to read everything after the event, but now I can be just as emo and ill informed as anyone - the beauty of the web
Not sure when I joined, but it was the other board..... 2000, 2001? I found this site looking for JETS articles (as I live in N. FL, I only hear JAGS stuff) and Petro had links to all the NY newspaper stories on the site. After reading/lurking for a bit I joined. This was the second "message board / forum" I ever joined (1st being a FL fishing one), and I just kept the same silly screen name (after my old dog)
I remember when the forum switched over ... used to post alot more back then, but I have always been a die hard reader of the TGG "As The Season Turns".
