Ike with another o-fer, and adds two bad defensive plays in the 7th to help sink the team. What a clown.

He's going to end up being non-tendered and won't be on the team next season. With him being terrible, at the best, they have 6 offensive holes for next season, and this is giving them D'arnaud as being anything.

Hate to say it, but they're going to have to trade Syndergaard.

Mets have some serious decisions make. What do you guys think about Jeremy Hefner? Is this real? He's been incredible since like early June. I was thinking we should trade him while his value is high but now I'm not sure.

Collins needs to bench Ike and play Satin a bit more. Ike looks horrendous at the plate, too far back in the box and way out in front on the majority of his swings. He has lost all confidence in his abilities. You can almost count him as a automatic out, very sad. It worst when we have men on base and he is up at bat.

Pretty awesome that Harvey will start for the NL. I'm hoping he represents in his 2 innings of work.

yeah I just saw that too and came here to post it.

BTW, without the hat I might not have recognized him either. I've watched him pitch a number of times, but for some reason he looks different with the hair.

Harvey off to a bad start in the ASG, and the Yankee fans are going to be pissed about him hitting Cano. Good thing Wright will presumably not be in the lineup by the time Rivera would be in the game.

Harvey with 2 scoreless. He also hit Cano, which is just icing on the cake.

^^ It doesn't even look like he's running. Just stroll and the guard made sure the kid went to the ground

Machado swung and missed at the first two pitches and Buck said the count was 1-1.

He was then confused when Machado struck out, blaming it on the scoreboard.

    Try watching the game.

I haven't been watching the game, but I'm confused that Rivera was brought into the game in the 8th. Why not bring him in in the 9th to get the save? Am I missing something?

    lol @ twitter:

@jason1040 Lay off Jim Leyland people. The man is 107 years old, he thought the 8th inning was the last inning.

@richeisen Jim Leyland managing as if he doesn't want to play a Game 7 on the road on a Halloween Night. Wait. What?

@gwolan30 Jim Leyland is so used to his closers blowing it that he put Mo in for the eighth hahaha

Leyland was so afraid he was going to botch this, that he ended up botching it.
