Hunter, then Howard, were the obvious mistakes. Howard, at least seems to be panning out, but...,its imperative to note, that the offensive decline occurs when Woody leaves. As for the WR, that was retarded. The Vagiants sign Ahmad Bradshaw, and the Jets under media scrutiny part ways with Edwards? Really?
How do you know the Jets didn't believe that Smith, Nassib, Barkley, Glennon, Wilson and Bray were all upgrades over Sanchez this year? You don't. Sanchez blows so it doesn't take a hell of a lot to upgrade.
I talked to some Jaguars players and they told me that first pick that led to a TD changed the game and took the wind out of the Jets sails :breakdance:
And as far as Sanchez being the issue, lets ask Braylon. ripping the people that could acually, you know..hire him... Odd, he sees it like that...
Cool, you're funny. A) anyone who has followed this game and understands it could tell you that was a game changing play despite happening in the first half and B) I actually did talk to multiple Giants(key players) and other folks connected w/ the league. Sorry you don't have that opportunity.
Not to mention Mangold and Holmes both backing Sanchez as well, But us fans from the sideline probably know better then anyone on the field with him. What could they know.
Simple. Because if they did, they would have taken 2, because if Sanchez is getting cut next year Sackelroy cant be your backup to Smith. And, fwiw..ok. sanchez blows. What QB would have won 6 in last years situation?
Last year you fucking moron. Right about the time he was about to get cut from Seattle. And a week before the Jets signed him. You are the clown. 12/4/2012
Is that why he's in a competition to win the job? If they just wanted to develop him while Sanchez was prepped for the starting role, then they would have simply let him ride the pine. If you believe that they were not planning on leaving Sanchez in March (which I can believe if only because there weren't many apparent alternatives), can you at least acknowledge that, now that they were lucky enough to get a QB capable of doing so, they are considering moving on from him by september? Or do you really believe the decision has been made regardless of what they've said and what actions have been made? They think Smith can be the guy today, otherwise they wouldn't even bother.
Please stop flooding the forum with your bullshit, and learn to read. The date of the quote had nothing to do with the context of the observation.....
Does it really matter? He was looking for work then and now. Iv been a jets can my whole life and it was never better than the flight boys. Ironically that's when Mark had a decent line, backs and receivers and we know the outcome when a QB has weapons
Well, the obvious answer is, that Sanchez and Smith > Sanchez,Sackelroy? And, no...the organizational philosophy, is to tell everyone, that their job is on the line. But that doesnt change the external factors. Chiefly... that today, Sanchez is the more polished, and accomplished QB. Geno isnt gong to be in the Gun throwing every third pass to austin. He's got a curve.
What kind of nonsensical bs is that? He never played with Sanchez? Or did you mean to say, he doesnt understand what it takes for a QB to be succesful, and you do?
They should have a Nick Mangold Manbearpig Contest at the end of camp. Whoever can do the best impersonation of a Jolly Sasquatch gets an auto-roster spot just in case Mangold gets hurt and can't do it as well on crutches.
