maybe he will do us all a favor and fall down the next time he is doing the hiney dance for the cameras and sprain his wrist and ankle. im sure it wont happen, but one can hope. although him losing his job over injury would mean that we would have to hear hobbes and junc use that excuse for hte next 10 years.
The reason I hate Sanchez is that he projects the vibe that he doesn't care. The video of him butt dancing only adds to it. I would have preferred it being video of him going to a sports psychologist or something similar showing that he wants more than anything to be better. So far he gives the same BS responses and goes to Jets West for whatever reason. Perception is reality , and his is that of a 26 year old millionaire who knows he is getting paid no matter what. What is Mark's motivation? That's my beef. I hope he does do better, but I don't expect it.
Have you ever seen any other athlete in your lifetime make a video of them going to a sports psychologist? Seriously....
This isn't all that good an argument. The last thing I want to see anybody doing after they screw up is being all down and hang dog about it. One of the things I like the least about Sanchez is that he obviously shows his emotions when he is down after he makes a mistake. I dread the close ups of him on the sidelines after he throws a pick because half the time he's almost sulking over there.
You are what you eat right? Maybe if he has one it will make him a wiener! :breakdance: sorry, sorry, it was just to easy for me not to- sorry...
So an injury on his non throwing hand is an excuse for 2003 but TWO shoulder surgeries on his throwing arm has nothing to do with 2006? It was the 3rd year with Schotty when Brees had that great season, so he would have had to ignore Schotty after 2 long years not 3.
then threw ZERO TDs and 3 INTs in a HOME playoff loss. Don't let weak competition in 2010 fool you, Cassell was never half the QB Sanchez was and his career has gone downhill since that one decent year where he was awful in the biggest game of the season at home. This is one of my points, fans would rather their QB has good fantasy #s than actually be good.
And Sanchez is neither of those things. He's a straight up BUST. Keep thinking he's a legit franchise qb, though. Will make his failure all the more hilarious to watch.
Do you even read the posts? Hobbes was bashing Schotty in his so unless you agree with him then maybe you should find out what the debate is about before dropping in and looking stupid. I don't think Matt Cassel is good. I was just countering his point. He made a point like Matt Cassel dropped off the map after NE. When was the point ever about whether Matt Cassel is better than Sanchez? But this post is funny because I've actually seen you defend Matt Cassel when the argument is about how Peyton is better than Brady. A point I don't agree with btw, but nonetheless another shining example of how you twist things to fit into your arguments.
I didn't read the conversation, I just saw you pumping up Cassell. Cassell did drop off the map after he left NE, he had one decent year where he was exposed in the playoffs then never recovered. when did I defend Cassell? Please find that argument.
Straight up busts don't win 4 playoff games in their first 4 seasons. It's funny how one awful year in a season where everything was going wrong around you erased all the good you did. Sanchez has more playoff wins than any Jet QB. I'm fine with Geno starting but let's not act like Sanchez is a bust at 26 because he is not. Also your signature makes you sound like a monumental douche. What are you 15?
this is why its impossible to have a rational conversation with people like you. Junc wasnt pumping Cassel, he was making the obvious point that Brady, is a product of the system. Brady, aint Brady if Schotty is his OC. I made the same point in reverse. Penny, very good QB, under performs. Brett Favre, that actually played in Good offenses refuses to run Schottys playbook, while Chad goes to Miami and reverts to form. The only point that leaves, is the Jets do not have an accurate picture of what their investment in Sanchez really is. My opinion is a decent OC, can get the fuy thats showed flashes in big spots, to play somewhere between the Week 1 game, and the St.Louis game, consistently. Others disagree. System matters. And schottys is always going to be a bottom 10 offense, unless Smith,Aikman,Irvin harper, and Novaceck discover the fountain of youth and come back. And lets get this out there now....when Morningwood turns him around, this whole. Rowd, will still clamor for Geno, by making the system matters argument. Sanchez, still sucks, its Martys WCO, imagine, we'd be 16-0 with Geno!
He didn't have "one awful season" though. He has had 3 bad seasons and one average one in 2010. I really don't see what you guys see in Sanchez. What am I missing?
Not surprised. Lol oh boy. Another chance to get into a semantic argument with you. I guess making a pro bowl with a different team is now "falling off the map" when the only reason the guy was brought up was him winning 11 games for NE against the world's easiest schedule in 2008. I know you won't argue that. Winning 11 games for NE and missing the playoffs with that easy schedule puts him on the map. Winning 10 for KC and making the playoffs two years later he is "off the map". Just like a pick on 2nd and 8 from the 36 is "like a good punt". Keep talking out both sides of your mouth. Congratulations. You got 2 posts from me to help liven up your day. Now go find somebody else.
You might want to check with him on that. You know absolutely nothing and make it up as you go along. I'll wait for your response after junc tells you that is the exact opposite of what he thinks because it will be pretty hilarious to see you waffle yet again. You are all alone so stop thinking people are on your side.
who cares about pro bowls? he was exposed for what he is at home in the WC rd. He won 10 games as a starter for NE a year after they were 16-0 and w/ a far easier schedule. 2007 vs. playoff bound teams: 6-0, won by an AVERAGE of 20 PPG 2008 vs. playoff bound teams: 2-4, lost by an average of 18 PPG see any difference at all? but Cassel was great b/c he had a high QB rating! Pay attention instead of hurling insults, this way the next time you debate someone you might actually have a clue what you are talking about.
Brady is the best QB of his generation by a very wide margin, Brady made that system. Cassel is a terrible QB who put up decent #s for 2 seasons. My point about Cassel was that he was good in #s only, average fans like beast think he was good b/c he won a weak division and had good #s meanwhile at home in the playoffs he was awful and his team got crushed while Sanchez has helped his team win 4 road playoff games but b/c he doesn't have great fantasy #s he sucks.
lol junc you are an idiot. You aren't even on the same page about what the argument is about. I never said Matt Cassel was good. I actually said: My point was that in order for him to "fall off the map" by winning a division then he would have had to be "on the map" by winning 11 and missing the playoffs. I am disputing Hobbes' point. I was never making the point that Matt Cassel is a good QB so find somebody else to have that argument with. I think he sucks. Please read better. It would serve you well to go back to the beginning because you don't know what's being talked about here. But I get that you're bored at work and probably just trolling so have fun...I guess...
