    Anyone been watching this?

Since yesterday, they have been interviewing the main witness in this entire trial. If you ask me, she is completely clueless LOL

    Thoughts on case?

    I know LOL

This girl has been terrible man. Constant lies, confusion, taking things out of what the kid really said.

Don't be shocked if 6 women view the destruction of this girl very differently than you do.

Yeah well I'm pretty sure it didn't help her case that she asked the defense attorney when he asked her a question, "are you retarded?"

    Low class, un-educated girl.

Who was on the phone with a young guy who was shot dead while she was talking to him. Pretty difficult situation for an uneducated, low class girl, one that juries may understand.

Zimmerman is in need of some sympathy going into that jury room. I think you're right that his attorney trying to dismantle somebody like that on the stand probably is break even for him at best.

It's very hard to know. One thing I do know is never think that women see things the same way you as a man see things. That just gets you in deep dodo.

I agree with you, but I think she lost a lot of credibility not only with her attitude, but with her constant lies and misunderstanding. She is going by what she claims to have "heard" on the phone. There is no physical evidence to say that Zimmerman attacked him and not the other way around.

I think this case gets thrown out. Too many uncertainties. This whole case is "she said, he said". I do think that the racial issue was played out and redundant. The kid called him a "cracker" because that was his way of explaining to the friend who was following him. He did not call Zimmerman a cracker to his face. It was not meant in a racial way and I think trying to gear the case towards that is irrelevant.

blue state-er ---> "..racist murderer, boil him in oil.."
    red state-er: ---> "..self-defense, she's no cred.."

Sorry, but absent of real, unassailable FACTS to be offered into evidence, imho it seems that touchy "issues" such as People v. Zimmerman end up generating knee-jerk proclamations based on whatever side-of-the-aisle one's political philosophy resides .... probably why the "Political" threads on TGG (as astute as I find many of the 'contributors' to be) are for the most part...threads that are either 'progressive' circle jerks or 'reactionary' rant fests.

My thoughts are that Zimmerman will be acquitted and that there will be race riots in many major cities for at least a week afterwards.

    But probably longer.

That's the funniest part. The kid called him a cracker, even though he looks more hispanic than anything.

But after the trial, it will be treated like a black/white issue because that gets the most emotional reaction by design.

He's part of a multi-racial family. Part of which is white. The white part is the one that will be focused on in the end.

When you get into your 50's and switch from saltines to Milton's the cracker reference works well for the beautiful rainbow we have become.

Case should have never gone to trial.

It would be great if that cliche were not lived up...er, down...to this time. You try to put aside all race assumptions and believe that people can act with reason and restraint, and it would be really nice if it all works out that way. But I wouldn't bet money on it. Damned shame.

After? It was manufactured to get this case to trial.

It was reported that on Zimmermans call, he parked his truck, going past the courtyard, made it to the street beyond, which means Martin, had a clear path to his porch.

Zimmerman doubled back, after saying "i lost him" Martin doubled back, for what? Confrontation, is the only answer.

    Sadly for both..,thats what happened.

    http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...eading-to-the-shooting-of-trayvon-martin.html

See the Times map.(the link is to the right...)

What was reported was Zimmerman parked by the pool house. And made it all the way to the main street.

    The courtyard path, is shown.

You're assuming that all of the details you present are accurate and honest.

This case is the hottest button you could imagine for the fragile state of black/white racial affairs in a country that has a very large cross section of docile line-walkers hypnotized into thinking it is stable.

Riots, paranoia, and civil unrest will result from this well-organized coup on the psyche of the comfortable.

Can you explain further? I thought I knew what you were getting at until it seemed confusingly self-contradictory.
