So you admit you made up that stuff up--or imagined it--about him not being committed to football and not taking football seriously.

    Gotcha.

Not being good at something does not mean you aren't committed or aren't taking it seriously. Or working as hard or harder than anyone else.

Again, you can hate Sanchez all you want, criticize his skills, say he sucks azz, but you don't have to make stuff up to further your agenda.

And you're still being naive if you think Geno is studying 24/7 and not having some fun but your affiliation with WVU and Geno just makes it less transparent.

BTW, I had a LOT of fun at the Pinstripe Bowl

Moore.red zone. One good coach, 2nd in the nfl.

Contrast that with Penny, a more accurate QB under Schitty, but turned into an int machine.

Sparano, look at the completions to players out of the backfileld, 11,versus 12.. Then factor in injuries to wr's.

Schotty? Admitted himself. simms referenced it in the Pitt game.

So, to recap, schottys words. Statistics of completions to backfield recoevers, or the pictures of you in fishnets, which is most accurate?

Beach, im a sporting guy. How about a sig bet.

When Sanchez wins more games than Fannyhill, your sig ays, hobbes was right, Sanchez is a player and, Im an idiot.

For the entire next season, starting when wins and losses is no longer in doubt...

Fannyhill wins more than Sanchez, i go the other way, we ask the mods to ban for non compliance for a season?

Your contentions are, Sanchez sucks, and Im a moron, so how about it?

If Sanchez doesnt play, (to wit, Smith beats him out...I go right away, until circumstances change)

Put your balls where your mouth is.

Why would I look at completions to players out of the backfield when the point of contention is far off from that and includes far more than that? You may need to go back and re-read my post.

It is pretty difficult to debate things with you when you won't even stick to the topic.

Lol see this is why I don't take you seriously. For one thing, I'm not certain that Miami will win more games than NY next season, for reasons that extend far beyond the QB situation.

For another, I have never been sold on Tannehill and I have been on the record for that back before the draft. I was LOL'ing at any team that wanted to draft him because to me he seemed very much an unknown.

The difference between me and you is that I can still root for my team's QB to play well without making asinine arguments as to his actual on-field performance. I was disappointed in Tannehill in crucial games last year, yet I still realize he has a lot of potential. You will never see me painting his performance as anything other than what it was, full of ups and downs, and blaming his mistakes on lack of WR help or other nonsense. I am able to grade his performance with respect to other factors.

So I have no interest in making that sort of bet as it pertains to those 2 QBs, and to be honest it has absolutely no bearing on the discussion we have been having. So I'm not going to let you think you owned me on some internet argument about Sanchez by winning some far off-topic argument about Sanchez and Tannehill.

How bout I counter with us having a real man's debate about the topic at hand, and you answer my original question that I posed in my last post, without you bringing up shit that has nothing to do with it.

Still waiting, btw. Please keep to the topic. It makes it hard to debate when you keep changing the argument around.

Do I need to repost my question or are you going to dance some more?

No balls. All mouth. Its clear thats all you are.

If Sanchez sucks, what are you losing? A little public embarassmemt? If Sanchez loses to Smith, Im embarassed opening day...

This is the Sanchez sucks thread is it not?

So, if he sucks, and you arent a post stalking troll, running your mouth...step up to the plate.

Some consider you to be a respectable poster, i think you are a blowhard, and of a sog bet is beyond you, Ill be as right about you, as I was about Garrard.

You already claimed I lied about Pennys stats, while trolling...didnt see you retract that claim, and he played for your team.

You are a blowhard troll, be done with it.

I've never said that Geno was better than Mark.

I never claimed you lied about Penny's stats...LOL...If so, quote it. I was talking about you lying about the numbers of throws outside the hashes and down the field in comparison to other teams.

Ya know, the discussion I am STILL waiting on you to provide some evidence for.

When comparing sancho to penny, you leave out two huge pieces of information. His arm is much greater than penny's was, because the latter had how many major injuries by that point in his career under schotty.
The reason penny was a high completion Qb was because he was a very accurate passer, something nacho isn't buy you never seem to wanna discuss real truth about your man. Team talent was comparable so don't start the player blame game. If Pennington ever had nachos arm, we may have went to a Super Bowl with him as Qb. We can't say that with nacho, because he lacks pennington's accuracy, brain, heart, and ignorance to defensive pressure.

I guess I'm just a doubting Thomas. But if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck. For every positive that Sanchez has provided for our team, he's had atleast 2 negatives. And guess what, it's year five, and all you can do is reach for reasons to keep this duck on our team.
I'm not by any means a casual fan, I love to watch the team. Not just a player.

Jets won't be here if Nacho was half (hell. Make that quarter - the argument is still valid.) the QB that Pennington was (that is, AFTER the injury.)

Let me put your blaming schotty for nacho's 4 year NFL Qb debacle.
When schots came to the jets he took over for mike heimerdinger and his 29th in scoring offense. Keep in mind that he had Pennington as his Qb, who was coming off injury. 2006 was schottys 1st season in New York, and they moved up 11 spots to 18. In 07 penny was injured again, Clemens started 8 games and the offense moved down to 25th in scoring. In 08, Farve came to town, and our offense moved up 17 spots to 8. In 09, your love bug's rookie year, we dropped to 17th. We were 13th the next 2 seasons, which ended schotty's tenure. then fell all the way to 28th last year under sparano.
There is no way that any sane person who claims to watch football as much as u and junc, can blame a coach for nacho's actions on the field.

Further more the thing that held our team back for the last 4 years is easily seen. Turnovers have killed our team, strategically speaking, since nacho came here.
09- team turnovers, 30...... Nacho 20 intc, 10 fumbles( not fumbles lost)
    10- 21 team turnovers.......13 intc, 9 fumbles
    11- 34 team to's.............18 intc, 10 fumbles
    12- 37 turnovers......18 intc, 14 fumbles.
If you can't see that our win loss record is determined by turnover lost, and turnovers gained, then u need to watch another sport.
To make matters worse, from nachos first year to last, our defense created 31,30,31,and 23 turnovers. Look at all those lost opportunities, nacho gives it away faster than a top 10 defense can take it away from our opponents.
One day you will see that nacho sucks, right now you are star struck. Don't blame everything but the problem, that's outright stupid.

Hobbes is right all we gotta do is acquire

    Carl Nicks
    Calvin Johnson
    Jimmy Graham
    Arian Foster

And get Sean Payton to leave New Orleans and become our OC

And I bet we win with Sanchez at QB

I know it's far from the case, but acting that way seems rather gay...not that there's anything wrong with that.

    1. That's what Schottenheimer is. 15th-best offense at best, even with every right piece in place.

    2. That said, Nacho's mind-blowing turnovers are certainly inexcusable. To his defense, though, Pennington threw 16 picks during Schottenheimer's finest year, a few of them in the red zone (Pennington never did that prior to Schottenheimer's evil clutch.) If a cerebral and accurate QB like Pennington could commit 16 INTs in his system, you can only imagine what it could do to a green rookie like Sanchez. (What you are seeing is not unrelated in other words.) Don't just look at Sanchez's INT numbers. Look at the annual INT sums in each of Schottenheimer's offenses, starting from his NYJ years to his StL days. You won't be impressed. [Very well - you will have to drop the hammer on either Schottenheimer or Sanchez. I am about to drop on both, but I am more inclined to see what Sanchez has in MM's offense. That said; I can't understand how some people - you know who - defend both Schottenheimer AND Sanchez. It is indeed mind-boggling.]

    3. So... where does this take us? This is my take on it:

Sanchez is not an accurate QB. That is a given. He could have been, given proper coaching during his formative years; it wasn't quite the case, unfortunately. Now, as a 5th-year vet, he is about done. Sure - Michael Vick showed marked improvements in MM's system; that's all Sanchez camp has going in their favor.

That does not mean Schottenheimer (and to a large extent, Cavanaugh) are not to blame; in fact, they are the very reason Sanchez is ruined. [Add T-Bomb and you have the tri-fecta.] Jets should have canned Schottenheimer and Cavanaugh when Rex came along.
